Thank you sweet Jeanne, This one originates from my homecountry - Serbia and the title Ajdejano is wrong - it consistes of two words "Ajde, Jano" and in translation it should be: "Yano, Let's..."

further it goes"Yano, let's sell our house..."

Many Balkan nationalities fight over the claim on the origin this song.

For me - it is Serbian song and I am honoured that the great Nigel Kennedy has a perfomance of the same

I know this song... And hearing the words in Serbian, I've realized, that our languages are similar. I'm from Poland, and I can understand almost everything in that song... that's great:) I also like Ederlezi... in serbian version; Djurdjevdan je... etc. Maybe some words are different; for example diurdjevdak (I've checked) is konwalia in Polish, but we're as similiar as brothers can be:... Kosowo jest serbskie.
