@royalyon All I can tell you is that if you stop theorizing about the ego and actually start detaching yourself from it, you'll find that truth isn't as hidden and hard to understand as you think. It comes naturally to the mind that meditates.
@royalyon Went through every one of the references. Pretty good stuff, haven't read them for at least a decade. They all seem like half-truths now by people who are missing the point. There is a lot of stuff leading to truth, but the essence of how to get there is missing, which is meditation. Try to emulate the environment that these people had when they received these wise thoughts, hone it down to something better and then you're on your way to wisdom.
The concept of the 'world' is also a mental object that we've accumulated through interaction with our environment. At some periods when I meditate there are no thoughts in my head and only a sense of complete happiness remains. My thought processes after meditation sessions and when I have multiple sessions are happier, more accurate, forms more quickly and the mind is also more nimble. Also thought fit the situation better. Hope that helps
@royalyon It's not really just physiological effects. If you do it for about 3 weeks the way you think and act start changing because you see things from a different perspective. The illusion of 'you' goes away and your connection to beings without being attached to what they are thinking or acting goes away. Resumed meditation after a 3 year hiatus two months ago so I can answer any questions if you've got any (Vidarshana/Vipassana/Insight meditation)
@royalyon Your religion is becoming very aggressive and even hateful these days. There are many ways, philosophies and religions. If your religion is lacking something, perhaps you need to take up a new one, or just "be" and let others "be," as they are. Without force and without judgment. Science is one way, Spirituality is another and Religion is yet One more. For some, instead of saying "I am a..." We can just leave it at...
Wow! I'm telling you, you could make money teaching singing. Another great singers' warmup to combat jaw tension. I modified it a little by sticking my tongue out as far as I could and holding it there during the inhalation b/c I have issues with jaw/tongue tension. After 15 rounds my jaw was completely relaxed. Thank you so much. Please make as many videos as possible at facial yoga.

It is not good to breath through the mouth. It is like your AC system without air filter.
Thanks for your video.
