very original and interesting! I'm also interested in what software you used. Also, I have a friend who performs live using his home desktop computer. You should really start performing live and sharing more of this, it's way too brilliant.
is there any chance you could explain how it was you exactly made this piece? I literally know next to nothing about making digital music, and am really trying to get into it. I love your explanations of your programs, but some of it is a little over my head as well, as I don't have a great background in Python or whatever it is you are programming in. I'd really love to see more tutorial-like videos, although i know this isn't your focus. Thank you!!!
Hey Stretta, totally mesmerised by this piece, it's amazing, enough said.
I was wondering what effects you've layered onto your voice to give it that ethereal quality, i'm assuming it was in Ableton but correct me if i'm wrong.. I've set myself the goal of getting/building a monome as a gift for getting finished with University in june. Can't wait.
also what do you think of the old Korg MS2000? I want to start tinkering around in ambient stuff (think the intro to Mistabishi's Talk Me Down)
Thank you, sincerely. Playing live is technically more of a realistic possibility today than it was three months ago, but I'd still need a laptop, which, without getting into too much detail, is a financial impossibility.
I grew up listening to Laurie Anderson and King crimson and this is somewhere in between them and something totally your own. I really appreciate what you do. I am sure you like the Books.
Wow, that's really awesome. I too would be interested in knowing what software you used in conjunction with the monome for this track. Also love your AFX work on other videos. You're a true talent.
But is that really you singing? It sounds so like Imogen. And you mentioned everything is generated live right? no loops/sequences running. Then how did you create those drum sounds?
None the less, 10 years from now people are going to look back at this work and still be studying it. Excellent work.
I love your stuff Stretta! You're so awesome...

You use the monome like no other I've seen. This composition is absolutely beautiful!
I've been subscribed for awhile and I have to know, are you playing live or anything? I'd love to see you play somewhere.

Hey, thanks! Laurie and King Crimson are big influences. I'll check out the Books as your ears seem quite perceptive.

@stretta you have to, i could see you touring with them (although it doesn't seem like touring is in your interests)
