I own a yellow one. It does NOT get but about 30-40 mpg. I have over 400 miles on it. It has had the same battery for 2 years and has always started. It IS a head-turner. Those are the good things. I had to replace ALL nuts with lock-nuts. it will rattle apart otherwise. The carb leaked but was fixed through the dealer. There is still a small leak somewhere. I still drive it and enjoy but it is NOT a fast vehicle. It is just for local rides. If you buy one you need to be a mechanic.
I had one of these! It is alot of fun to ride but does not go past 35mph. I weigh 120lbs and never was able to go past 32mph. It is very stable on turns and rides very well but tooo slow! At 200 miles on it, the chain broke off and left me stranded in the middle of the street. Had to be towed but my mechanic only charged me $65 to get fixed with a motorcycle chain. Needless to say, i sold it after that! I would not recommend it!
I have one in hawaii with ideal climate - got about 900 miles before it threw rod through the crank case (even with oil changes every 300 miles) - It's a cool concept, but a piece of garbage. Currently outlawed in Hawaii. Do a LOT LOT of research before you buy one of these. Isn't typical gy6. No parts available and no customer service. you need machine shop and donor engine if you want to actually drive this. Stay Away. Or buy mine :-) awrathall@gmail.com - contact me,will behappyto chat

Without a genuine video of this traveling, I suspect the engine is very loud. Could they be covering up the product defects with the music sound track?
No parts? Go to ur regular bike shop? Camon guys! They've sold a ton of those, plenty of parts on 'line'. And u can always adapt something else if u can find the OEM. Like all chinese stuff needs regular maintenance and don't expect it to perform like a T-Rex, but hey, it's a lot cheaper than one...
@Bmants They use regular motorcycle parts. Compatible with most aftermarket Japanese parts, better than the original. Suggest you do your research first before making comments like that. :) You could chuck a lawnmower engine in if you like... go like a bat out of hell!
@Scootertuner1000 max speed on the flat -35 mph, hold about 1.6 gallons (7 litres) travel on the flat should get 60miles for just over half a gallon of fuel this would depend if you are a regular size person or obese! With two people it might pay to fill up each way.
@punkrctlw down to your regular motorcycle shop for parts and service... Parts that wear out first are the breaks, keep your oil topped up and check the brake cables regularly. on a cold day, bit hard to start keep your spark plug dry. Wouldn't recommend any rugged of road riding but great for the beach and dirt roads, hard to flip.
That yellow nd red is sexy

@mikeb2056 The roll cage is not even necesary, can a wide, 150cc vehicle flip? HELL NO
mifemafia 10 months ago
I have been looking for something like this, but it should be about 300cc.

@MultiDickbreath DON'T say that about me!! My mum says 'I am special...." I am sure I smell better than you, especially your breath...

Would look more cool without the roll cage... I have one and done over 5000 miles and still going strong, great fun for summer... Not for off-road.

@01Smartass I am thinking of getting one for commuting the 12 miles to work each day. How fast does it go and how much fuel does the tank hold?
