Good stuff man. Ive been DJing a long time but this is the first time ive seen this. Just goes to show you can always learn new stuff no matter how long youve been doing it.
@oldcharon Thank you, yeah that is so true, we are always learning, I just try to do things that are a bit unusual and something you don't see every day.
Also I find making mistakes helps to learn, I know it sound strange but I guess the saying is right, you learn form your mistakes.
@steve702 thank you, I'm glad you like the video and I hope to get some more videos up soon, thank you for your feed back, I never thought I could be much of a teacher but I quite enjoy it now.
@jonnybpm Thank you , yeah I like my DJ corner, sometimes I think I could do with some more space, but I managed to be efficient with the space and I think I can make it all fit.
@NewGenerationBeatsTV no worries, thank your for your comment. I should hopefully have some more videos on the way soon, I hope they are of any help to you.
thanks again for your comment and sorry for the late reply.
nice vid mate, moth prob flew outa them old 1210s lol, but seriously nice simple to understand proper no nonsense tutorial. im gonna subscribe.........................
@mxo1210 thank you, yeah i love vinyl, don't get me wrong i love the convenience of the whole MP3 thing, but you can beat the control and the reliability of good old vinyl.
Thank you for the reply I am looking forward to seeing a vid showing how to hook up the the mixer to a pc or mac and how to use that type of set up. Thanks bro.
LOL, that is him farting. Wow, you keep things so neat. I'm jealous of that.
Anyway, I already know how to do that. If you do it right it can really be cool, especially when you have just a beat coming in. I do mine with a loop and fade.
LOL, both of the songs sound alike.
I find it funny that so many guys, me included keep their x-box near by.
THis is a long video to teach something so simple. I'm bailing.
@DragonSpeak707UTube im actually working on a video just like that at the moment its just taking quite some time to film and edit but hopefully I might have it up soon.
Great Tip!!! The spin back with Echo. I do it all the time... Also sounds great if you press the start/stop button on your turntable with your echo/loop on.
hey for the floor boards u should locate the nails that secured them and using a hammer pound it a few times and see if they go away. it happened at my house and that's what i did. hope it works for you
I don't do drum n bass, nor use effects (I do Hip Hop) but that's a nice a transition! I can't imagine mixing that music: it's so hectic and active that I could imagine mistakes would be more noticeable! Have you considered serato or traktor or any other digital system apart from Virtual DJ? I made the jump to Serato from vinyl, mate it is awesome! You'd love it. I enjoy your vids, keep em going!
James, can you do a vid on mixing with the cross fader and the channel faders and the pros and cons of using both please,
