  • Good stuff man. Ive been DJing a long time but this is the first time ive seen this. Just goes to show you can always learn new stuff no matter how long youve been doing it.

  • @oldcharon Thank you, yeah that is so true, we are always learning, I just try to do things that are a bit unusual and something you don't see every day.

Also I find making mistakes helps to learn, I know it sound strange but I guess the saying is right, you learn form your mistakes.

Thanks again for your comment and feed back.

    Nice one!!!

  • cheers mate, enough respect for that... Up until now the echo on my mixer has done nothing but make the tune sound like a big muddy mess!!!

  • awsome records...glad to see records used in this tutorial...

  • @mxo1210 thank you, yeah i love vinyl, don't get me wrong i love the convenience of the whole MP3 thing, but you can beat the control and the reliability of good old vinyl.

    thanks for your comment.

    nice one!!!

  • LOL, that is him farting. Wow, you keep things so neat. I'm jealous of that.

Anyway, I already know how to do that. If you do it right it can really be cool, especially when you have just a beat coming in. I do mine with a loop and fade.

LOL, both of the songs sound alike.

I find it funny that so many guys, me included keep their x-box near by.

THis is a long video to teach something so simple. I'm bailing.

  • great help thank you

  • Do you have a vid showing how to hook up the the mixer to a pc or mac and how to use that type of set up?

  • @DragonSpeak707UTube im actually working on a video just like that at the moment its just taking quite some time to film and edit but hopefully I might have it up soon.

    thanks for your comment.

    nice one!!!

  • Hey whats that mixer like? Good vids :)

  • Great Tip!!! The spin back with Echo. I do it all the time... Also sounds great if you press the start/stop button on your turntable with your echo/loop on.

  • hey for the floor boards u should locate the nails that secured them and using a hammer pound it a few times and see if they go away. it happened at my house and that's what i did. hope it works for you

  • thanks for another good video, the "trick n tip-series" is a very good idea. Keep em coming!

Films about beatmatching would be lovely! Dubstep, Jungle, dnb ..

Lots of love from sweden mate!!

  • I don't do drum n bass, nor use effects (I do Hip Hop) but that's a nice a transition! I can't imagine mixing that music: it's so hectic and active that I could imagine mistakes would be more noticeable! Have you considered serato or traktor or any other digital system apart from Virtual DJ? I made the jump to Serato from vinyl, mate it is awesome! You'd love it. I enjoy your vids, keep em going!

From a UK expat in Madrid!

  • nice vdeo hey are you in a walk in closet i like that keep up the good work oook

  • Dude its you, Lift up them floor boards and nail them down or use talc powder or whatevers best and do a video on fixing squaky floor boards

  • You make that look easy mate, if your living with your mum i bet she knows when your having a bunk up, especially with them floorboards lol

  • nice vid mate! even tho there was nuthing new there to me you explained it very well great tutorial for begginers!

  • Can u show top 3 simple tricks with mixing to get started with D&B please?!!

  • keep the vids comin bro its good to hear tips from a dnb dj, liked this vid aswell mate
