  • too bad there was an earthquake during your performance, but I bet it sounded great!

  • shit

  • i hear that nose when my dog fucks my cat ;D you mastered it !!!!

  • So now I know what it sounds like to be in "Hell" Thank GOD I'll be going the other direction.

  • wtf is this shit

  • whats the point of having guitarists when the bass player plays guitar?

  • im not gonna lie, theyre obviously talented..musicians isnt the right word.. but they definately have techincal. but it just sounds like shit-mierda.

  • @darkdeminsion Um, explain to me objectively, how they aren't musicians please? Just because something isn't aurally pleasing does not take away the utilization of notes, tonalities, scales, modalities, etc. Music is an art form whose medium is sound or silence. Subjective tastes do not detract from objective quantifications.

  • @JoshuaAlexanderful call it music if you want, but there's a difference between good music and bad music. if its not aurally pleasing then why make it? music is supposed to express ones emotions, whereas this is hollow, emotionless noise. BUT this is just my opinion. and you have your own. we just gotta respect eachother.

    -Darkdimension

  • @lineadan6 I do respect your opinion that it isn't "pleasing" music! What I took issue with, is that often people label something they don't like/find aurally non-appealing as "not music"...when really, it is (Dubstep, tech-metal, etc.). I would argue that this is expressing their emotions - in an angry, cathartic manner. An alternative to aural pleasure would be making music to demonstrate a concept/technique - take shred guitar, or the 20th century avant-garde composers (Cage, Xenakiss, etc.)

  • @JoshuaAlexanderful Also, I appreciate your response in a mature and non-expletive filled manner, lol. While I don't find this aurally pleasing, I love this from a technical standpoint, and thus would listen. (I have Viraemia's self-titled, I listen to it as frequently as I do ethnic & world music, J-pop, Motown, and vocal jazz.)

  • When he's not playing, they use the bass to land airplanes upon.

  • is the guy chuck norris??

  • i love metal but wtf is this.......

  • "My lowest tone is the brown tone... Too bad the stereo can't play that low... :(" - is what the bassplayer wanted, but could not have. He wanted everybody to litteraly shit themselves when they played live.

  • Would be good if the audio wasn't shit

  • so wheres the song

  • christopher walken - listen guys the song is great butttt............were gonna need some more sweeps,

  • How did the top comment get to be the top comment?

I love this band. I am very, very aware that not only are they phenomenal musicians, but also their music is immaculate.

    TRAMPLE OFF, EH.

  • Chill, guys. This would have been awesome with a decent record quality.

  • my nintendo is glitching again..........

  • are there any decent recordings of this song?

  • The more complex the music is, the less interesting the performence is.

  • IM A GUITARIST OF 30+ YRS...I KNOW GOOD MUSIC ,AND THIS SUX!!! AND THE 50 STRING BASS SUX EVEN HARDER BWAHHAHAHAHHHA.

  • @MegaCOOK28 that stuff is so hard for you,so shut up & the bassist knows well what he is doing.you know nothing about this kind of music.

  • @bassentence LET ME TELL YOU SOMTHING,..I'VE BEEN PLAYIN HEAVY MUSIC ALL MY LIFE,..OK...I KNOW GOOD METAL MUSIC,AND THIS AINT IT!! ..YEA IS THER TALENT THERE? YEA THERE IS,BUT THERE IS MORE TO GOOD METAL,THAN,NOISE!!

  • @MegaCOOK28 that's what i said,you don't know anything about that kind of music,calling that "noise" !!!!! hahahahaha & what's heavy music for you ? pink floyd,guns & roses ? hahahahahaha

  • @bassentence hahahahahahahaahhah,hahahahha...idiot..IT IS NOISE!!!!...YOU DONT GET IT!!!!!

  • @MegaCOOK28 erm sir your caps lock is on

  • @lomion200 I KNOW SORRY I CANT SEE VERY WELL.

  • Hey idiots, the song is great. It's the quality of the recording that sucks. And yet, cheers to the guy who recorded it, I know what it's like to face adverse recording conditions and still have the balls to upload the videos knowing you're gonna get the bullshit comments.

  • Is that thing be called...Music ????

    I really don't like, sorry

  • is the singer a midget? sorry this is my first time listening to them

  • I love metal, but this is just ridiculous. I mean, what are you trying prove here? That you can set your metronome to 300 bpm and play a note for every beat? I respect the amount of talent you guys possess, but you should really channel this into more well-written songs, perhaps save this insane shit for breakdowns, not use it for the entirety of the music. Your technicality is off the charts, but musicality is horrible. Got it, your bro0t4l!! So fucking what?

  • @birrml Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Sounds like utter shit, though I can appreciate the technicality.

  • @birrml how about you stick to your deathcore and leave the tech death for the big boys, huh

  • @kintaro5000 How is writing songs with actual structure and melody simply being "deathcore"? The guy clearly stated they have a lot of talent, which I agree with, it's just not channelled into anything that sounds cohesive in the least. Continue being a musical elitist all you want, if this is the music you truly enjoy then so be it.

  • @buckethead77 Look dude, if you don't understand tech death, it's cool. Melody is a very low priority in the genre. Structure though? This has tons of it, just not in an ordinary way. It's difficult to discern through the poor recording quality, but it's certainly there. To each their own though. Different people hear different things.

  • @birrml I LOVE METAL,BUT SONG WRITING IS "WAY IMPORTANT. I LOVE TO DO SWEEPS,AND SHRED ALL THE TIME,BUT,YOU HAVE TO HAVE A "SONG"...AND I JUST DONT HEAR A SONG HEAR.....I AGREE WITH YOU 100%.

  • @MegaCOOK28 WHY ARE YOU YELLING?!?!?!?!?

  • I want to hear the studio version of this song

  • the FUCK is this

  • This sounds like 5 cell phones ringing with a crappy blastbeat behind it.

  • that bass is almost as big as my dick

  • My favourite part are lyrics!!

  • More cowbell please......

  • @TheSpamsound you guys are really getting annoying with your repeated comments on every video...how about top it off with a chuck norris comment you unoriginal douche bag

  • not enough strings, not loud enough

    haha :P

  • Do you guys play Crazy Bus?

  • this is my problem with music like this, it's too fucking technical, to me it's not a song, it's just dudes showing off their skills

  • holy what the fuck?!! fucken intense man!

  • This is the worst venue in Vegas. Fuck the farm.

  • enfia no cú!

  • u can land a plane on that

  • @MrTheguitargod Come on... fuck off with that stupidity...

  • Is there a singer? cant hear it lol

  • Es una garchaqaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa suena como el culo!

  • Holy hell the audio quality is crap. I can't even understand what the fuck is going on.

  • this guy must have a very special ear or something

  • @serazac25 Why? He plays almost everything exactly the same way guitars play it. That's the worse part of those extreme technical styles - you get stunned by the skills you see, but after a while you realise it is not musical at all. So it's up to anyone, take it or leave it.

I still respect them for the skills, but I don't like the band as a whole. I prefer Obscura with Jeroen on bass for example, not extreme but musical.

  • @FleshStarvingBass I like Obscura with JPS too, the new guy is pretty awesome too, and has a more classical background which is cool.

And by special ear i mean since being a bass player his main job is to detect the ver low notes and a lot of guitar players have a difficulty on doing so, and having higher string on his instrument probably made him sensible to high notes like a guitar player, or not I'm just making assumptions.

  • Now, this is music....

  • They call this a song,ahahahahahahahahaaaaaa...

  • @2fast5you Your point being..?

  • @paddymoep Ok, tehnicly they are awsome.

  • @2fast5you Call it song, track, whatever. Most bands have instrumental tracks.

  • dude fuck yeah bro.. your fuckin rippin that shit up.. support the metal and dont hate becuase you dont have the skills!!! EXCEED THE PLAGUE

  • I want his bass. and his skills too. then i would be pretty happy.

  • è molto bello

  • this is the worst shit i have ever heard! if you guys want to hear good technical bass or guitar music, check out TM Stevens or Buckethead but please, this is torture!

  • @JonatanG96 How about you fuck off and don't judge the band by a crappy quality video?

  • @JonatanG96 Everyone is open to enjoy whatever kind of music they want, and should not face judgement from anyone. You don't have to like the music, but you don't have to say it is shit. People obviously enjoy this music, so stop being ignorant of other peoples musical taste.

  • I remember my first scale too...

  • BORING!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is the least interesting metal band i've ever seen.

  • I tough I was good at bass... I've been owned :(

  • People usually feel quite threatened when they see someone doing something that looks more complicated than what they do

  • The size of the pickup of his bass is bigger than my cock

  • @Cataclysm30197 And so are the strands of his hair.

  • Comment removed

  • like you can tell a new song from any of there others, all they do is rape the diminished harmonic scale

  • What bothers me about this, is that yes they may be very talented at their instruments, but that really doesn't mean much when it sounds so awful. The bassist obviously knows what he's doing, but maybe he should learn new writing techniques. Being a musician isn't about how fast you can play arpeggios. This is like the opposite of catchy, and I feel like anyone who truly enjoys this is only listening to it because they are aware of the skill behind the terrible sound. Sorry, but it's true.

  • @ZacharyLeon Beauty is in the eye (or in this case the "ear") of the beholder. Some people want to actually hear music that hasn't really been done before. They do not find your "catchy" Americas top 10 bullshit beautiful. So I ask you this question and you had better answer me. What music do you find beautiful, or good, or so called "catchy".

  • @xSpArTiChRiSx Okay and I respect the fact that you want something new and awesomely technical. And yes, it is in the "ear" of the beholder, but just because something is new, technical and incredibly hard to play doesn't make it good music. I am a fan of Guthrie Govan, Born of Osiris, Periphery, Btbam, Scale the Summit, etc. I also enjoy heavier bands, but this here doesn't make me feel anything but the urge for an exit. Music is about feeling, and this in my ears, has none.

  • @ZacharyLeon Well said and I also respect your opinion. I believe this music has very powerful and even compelling feeling to it.. You just have to be in a very "special" state of mind. In my own opinion most people who do not get "feeling" from this music do not understand that in order to get the intended feeling you first must have experienced the feeling before...other wise this will just sound like Numb Noise. The feeling you are looking for is ...Heartless Robotic Systematic Brutality.

  • @ZacharyLeon its a terrible recording but it is hardly terrible music, that much is absolutely obvious , why the dumb observation? dont blame musicianship on a shitty phone recording

  • @cattycats4 This has nothing to do with the terrible recording. This has no rhythm, melody, or even a pulse. Again, they may be talented musicians, but their music certainly doesn't portray them as such.

  • @ZacharyLeon Well maybe you should just say "this isnt my kind of music" instead of fully ripping into what is obviously talented music. might not be your cup of tea but it definitely doesnt sound "so awful" thats your opinion but you state it like fact and that makes you sound like a dick. I hate most overly technical metal like this but this band to me is pretty good, you can listen in to what theyre playing and its not just there to be impressive its actually decent musically

  • @ZacharyLeon

If you spend fifteen minutes shitting into a toilet, you will succeed in making music if you follow that definition. Like cattycats said, try saying you don't like (or better yet, close out of your browser) instead of trying to claim that isn't technically not music because it doesn't tickle your wee.

  • @projectbaum If you spend fifteen minutes finding the most awful sounding arpeggios, you are destined to make awful sounding music. When all you shoot for is technical excellence, it's easy to neglect the other important aspects of music. It's Youtube. I'm expressing how I feel about what I am watching. That okay with you, chief?

  • @ZacharyLeon

Except that what you're trying to do is push off your opinion of this band as an objective truth. Don't like it? Then why are you even here?

  • @projectbaum So apparently I can't express my thoughts on what I'm watching. Why does Youtube have comments and likes or dislikes then? Why are we even discussing this? Oh and btw, dissonant sounds are meant to sound "bad". So my opinion towards the notes they choose is actually more like musical theory. If everyone wants to be a baby about a simple conversation on Youtube, then maybe you should ask yourself why you're here.

  • @ZacharyLeon

Dissonant sounds are meant to create tension, not sound bad. There were entire movements in music meant to test the limits of dissonances at the start of the 20th century. And I'm here to express my thoughts on your thoughts, because I like to be a baby about simple conversations on YouTube.

  • @ZacharyLeon imagine this being a death metal etude. they're trying to show off their technique - there are a bunch of tech death bands going for this over-the-top etude style.

  • @confettiembolism666 Yeah, I can see that. I think it would make more sense to me if all of their songs weren't shooting for that though. Although, I see what you mean.

  • @ZacharyLeon im with project, you dont like them. cool. its youtube express your feelings. but dont expect anyone to not express theirs back when you say its not music because of your tastes not because its an actually fact, because its not. thats what i think hes getting at. i love these guys because they are technical the whole time, which is what id expect from a genre with the definition of ''skillful players''. its death metal, to me its suppose to have its own dark beauty.

  • @ZacharyLeon ultimately, this stuff is just fun to play - like etudes, this style of tech death is ultimately more self-gratifying than anything haha. you at least have to credit them for pleasing themselves first.

  • @ZacharyLeon very true... quality over quantity and this is obviously quantity...

  • @staceynotdead Agreed

  • @clanbigger I like Pantera, Sepultura (I own all their albums) and I really like Cannibal Corpse. Are any of those Death Metal bands?

  • @andrewg012 Cannibal Corpse is the only one that is.... Sepultura and Pantera are groove metal

  • How the hell is this even music? I can't even hear the bass, so that guy playing the 10 string bass that looks like a penis is useless to me. I mean seriously, the job of the bass player is to keep time and no one can even hear him. Also where the hell is the drummer? Is he useless too? Yes!! The song just ended finally, I think it destroyed my iPad speakers it was so shitty. Great job.

  • @andrewg012 You obviously don't listen to death metal much. The bass is easily heard. Look up a cover of this band and you can compare the bass parts when isolated to their songs. And the bass shouldn't be restricted to just keeping time, it's a much more versatile instrument than that. The drummer is doing his part incredibly well too. The camera quality just isn't very good. Not trying to hate on you, but don't leave comments trashing an incredibly technical and talented group.

  • bleh..

  • great musicianship, very cool bass, crazy riffing/solo, but the only thing I disliked was the fact that the song didn't have any low parts, and sort of lacked structure... (else than blast beats and soloing with an 11 string bass)

  • Is that a bass or an harp?!!

  • that one hell of huge fretboard!

  • Bwwhwhwhwhwhwhwhwhhwwwhwhwhw

    Whiddly-whiddley-whoooo

    Bwhwhwhwhwhwhwhhwhwhwhwhwhwh

  • @AeonsOfFrost more like beeooowwooow bleeo bep bep bep bep bleooweoioihowaigh.

  • @RRRRRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH no... maybe your translation is more correct.

  • sounds like it would be awesome but cant really hear anything, when is their full length album coming out?

  • @b0doob0d Apparently Tony left the band so it sounds like it'll be a while before they release a full-length, unfortunately. Unless they get a new vocalist some time soon.

  • HOW COUD SOMEONE LIKE THIS KIND OF MUSIC???

  • @phaelo1982 well this is a live recording, so you cant really here the music that well..

  • @phaelo1982 I see that you listen to a lot of death metal yourself lol

  • @phaelo1982 I enjoy music that branches out and tries something different. This band has achieved that. You should try some Psyopus.

  • he can surf with that thing

  • wow look at his picking!!!! all fingers!! wow......no way

  • is this bass? seems more like bass combined with guitar

  • need to listen to a studio version...

  • LOL thisbandsuxkthanxbai

  • They should really just be instrumental

  • Zajebisty kawałek, oby więcej takich. Liczę na nowy album :D

  • it looks like a small boat

  • Omg, I want that snowboard.

  • this sounds like an explosion of bad

  • @TombShredder

What did you expect for in camera mic.? Geek.

  • i rly hope i find out the name for this ong & also they come out with it on an album

  • looks like a piano...

  • whoa! is thast 10 string BASE!?!?!? jk

  • you only play this shit because no one can tell wether you're playing it right or wrong... it's just bullshit

  • @v4lkyr rofl im pretty sure you can tell they are playing correctly when all the stringed instruments are in sync with each other and the drums are locked with them as well

  • @TheFireInside9

yea they probably do, but it doesn't really matter

  • @v4lkyr yo momma

  • technical death metal.....how the fuck do you compose and structure this stuff?

cant even pick out what key its played in..infact i cant make out much of it..

  • Personally I hate when bassist go over 7 strings. I mean you can, but I think it's better to play more technical stuff on a 7 than just tapping around on an 11.

  • Hey cuntrags -- If he wants to play an 11 string bass, he is fully entitled to. He clearly uses all the strings, and is more the proficient in his instrument. How about you lean how to play a 4 string bass before you bitch because he has 11 of them. I'm sick of seieng "OMFGYUDUNTNEDALLTOSESTRANGZZZ!!!" Do us all a favor and please, shut the fuck up. Kthanks.

  • @italia10588 Someone finally understands.

  • @italia10588 Cant agree more, dont know to much about bass but that thing looks freakisly awsome

  • This guy likes jean baudin

  • Soul-less ginger, just like Kyle. Except I hate Kyle, and this guy isn't jewish; I mean, look how many notes he's just giving away to the crowd. So not jewish. God I hate you Kyle- Love, Eric Cartman

  • I like Viraemia, but still, speed isn't all. Looks pretty stupid to run around with a ten string bass, nobody needs 10 strings. Also, it's gay having it as high up as he has. Everybody knows that the guitar/bass has to at least cover your cock. True story.

  • This video is way too loud, that's a shame... they're monsters, and I pretend their full lenght

  • wtf 10 string bass :p, he's crazy anyway, maybe fastest bass player of the world

  • So much talent.... jeff hughell is a beast as well

  • Damn, that song must be incredibly awesome - but this here video is just noise, you can't hear anything but "gshhhhhhhhhh" all the time :/

    I want their CD :)

  • i feel so noob after watching this...

  • all i hear is noise....

  • The thing is, as someone who likes death metal, this stuff just isn't any fun. It's just gratuitous and boring, like Malmsteen, only the band consists of five of them.

  • wtf is this?

  • omg that is the worst song ever.pirupirupirupirururururuurriririiriririririiriri trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr then pirupirupirupirupirupirupirupirutrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • I like how the singer is standing behind the bassist because the front man of this band is a FREAKIN INSANE 10 STRINGED GINGER BASSIST FROM HELL, which is technical as ... as making Necrophagist look like hello kitty or something.

  • Also did all who's talking shit .. Notice that He's Finger Picking.. Amazing.!!! I can't do it >>>!!

  • Noise is not music. This is noise.

  • Oh yeah, a new Viraemia song! *BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*

  • My brain is about to explode

but not in the good way

  • Pure Shit.

  • so ridiculous

  • ooh! youre the guys that makes the sound when my computer fucksup too! cool

  • technical but no feeling and boring.... sorry !!

  • i agree, i need melody in my music,

  • He has fucking amazingly fluid technique, just enough to get the sound out and to play clean. I have to go practice now.

  • Why do so many people attribute strings to playing ability? I hear idiots yammering on about how "this guy has ten strings, he's amazing!" or even more often, "you don't need that many strings, more strings is shit!" Do people not realize strings just provide range? You can be disgraceful or amazingly talented no matter how many strings you play. This guy is an amazing bass player not because of the number of strings he has, but because of how much effort he's put into being an amazing bassist.

  • @projectbaum he is fast as fuck but that's it.ask him to do a simply groove with his drummer.they will stop to play.immediately.

  • @MrFunkysatan

So you think that to get to that level of playing ability, one must skip all talent that is not speed-oriented? As if speed can be built separately of other techniques and areas of musicianship without eventually needing to cross over. It's cool that you know this guy, though, because I don't imagine you'd make such heavy claims on his playing ability without actually knowing firsthand, because that'd just be stupid. Tell him I said hi.

  • that sux... isnt death metal is noise

  • very good sound

    \

  • 2:43 to 2:47 the only good part
