  • Thanks for sharing your story. I like you went from 0 to stage 4 (MBC) despite yearly mammograms before turning 40 due to having dense breast. Your words reflect my attitude & experience. I do not want my husband, son or daughter to be a victim of MBC & I will do whatever it takes to stop this disease. When diagnosed I was given 2 yrs-with the 2 yr since being diagnosed I have mixed feelings as every treatment has so far failed-praying the current treatment is working (PET/CT scans in 3 weeks).

  • My mom has month left with untreated breast cancer can someone Plz Plz tell me if she can live longer

  • My aunty died in 2011 she was suffering from metastatic Breast cancer that spread to the Bone and eventually to the brain she found the lump herself and only lived 6 months to fight it or endure it I hope you are still fighting it its sad thing it makes you appreciate life and who you've got that time was the worst but most memorable as I got to tell my aunty how much I love her may she rest in peace and receive heaven x

  • @BeserkWhenPlaying I wish you being hit by a truck. Idiot.

  • Thank you for your story. You are in my prayers. I have four adult daughters and they have a paternal grandmother who had metastatic breast cancer and died 2 years ago. It is incredibly scary to think that even when you find symptoms, it is so hard to get to the help in a timely manner.

You and your family...... enjoy the time you have. Take the moments and make them count, as you are. Your courage will help them remember you in the future.

  • I hope you're still fighting on - I'm currently a university student, going into medicine as a career. I hope I'll show the same courage you do, and I'll go on to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer and make sure patients get the best treatment they can.

  • i really appreciate you share this story.

  • My mother was told she had weeks or a month of life this was last year in July 09 she is still here fighting she's 51

  • I am sending prayers, love and good thoughts your way!

  • Is she still alive?

  • May God always be with you.

  • I thank you for sharing your story. I am a 32 yrs old and I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer with lung and lymph node involvement. I will be starting treatment within the next week. I have also been told that there is no cure for my cancer, but i will not stop fighting and let this disease win.

  • @COLDSHADOWPLAY you can cure your cancer with quantum healing hypnotherapy. don't for a second believe there isn't a cure for cancer because there are so many!

  • MACROBIOTIC diet is the solution for all cancers:

lots of vegetables, no dairy or meat, only fish occasionally, no sugar and alcohol, low salt, no flour etc. and tonnes of GREEN TEA!!! you should also do this to prevent cancer.

  • Go shoot yourself in the head, asshole

  • you senseless jerk, shut up

  • ur a faggot.....

  • you are an idiot, someone who has obviously not gone through the pain and anguish of dealing with having someone you love being told they cannot be cured because they have stage iv breast cancer. Even though you are a nasty person I hope you never have to go through this pain that many of us have to live with

  • Michele, I was very touched by your story. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and have chosen alternative therapies as a complement to traditional western medicine. These treatments have helped immensely. Is there some way I can speak with you? Where can I find your blog?

  • Thanks for sharing your story. I was recently diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer with bone mets and had my first round of chemo yesterday. The doctor said it's incurable and that I may not celebrate my fiftieth birthday.

  • Michele "Rhino" Hyra!! That is WHO you ARE!! You are an amazing woman, and an inspiration to everyone around, and enjoy watching you kick that cancer's a**~~~!!!!

  • Thank you for sharing your story. You did my a difference in my life. I got my mamogram last Friday because of you!

  • Made me cry!

  • What a courageous woman. Bless her for standing up and telling her story and for doing it with such grace and clarity. Watch this video to put life into perspective. Share it with your friends. This is what all of us need now.

  • This is such a moving video. Michele shows such courage when she's talking about the importance of her family in relation to coping with "time left." I can't imagine I would be so level-headed if I were in such a situation.

  • This is an incredibly powerful story about a woman's experience with cancer from her diagnosis through her treatment. Check it out!
