Thousands of car accident victims were left behind by the massive government bailouts of GM and Chrysler. The $50 billion rescue of GM and the restructuring of Chrysler allowed them to "wash away legal responsibility for car-accident victims who had won damages or had pending lawsuits," OMG just found out,NO VOLT FOR ME. This could be You,a Loved one,Friend or someone you see around.
@SuperVanGogh13 not where I live, we get electricity from nuclear and wind farms. Coal is hardly the only source. Plus it burns less coal emisions (if you have coal in your area) to charge it than it does to run the gas engine for the same miles.
Remember how cool the concept of this car was? America wanted that car! That's the car I wanted! This production model looks like it should come with a boring wife, dead end middle class job and a crushing mortgage as standard equipment. If i ever buy a chevy without the camaro name on it I'll punch myself in the face. I WANT TO BUY AMERICAN! But this snooze wagon gives me no reason to even look it's way.
This car makes a Prius look like a gas guzzler! If you drive less than 40 miles a day (like 75% of other Americans) you would never need to buy a drop of gas! Just $1.50 a day worth of American electricity. And if you put solar panels on your house or in your back yard on your shed or on your carport you would make your own power and would eventually pay itself off.
Yeah, can't wait till these hit the dealer show floors. Go America!! on a side note, just heard that Mack Trucks productions are starting to increase again, bringing back some of their old workers, so go Mack also! America Baby!

Wonder if GM would let Chevrolet export the volt to Holden

Doesn't the electricity come for coal and oil firing power plants? Green? What BS.
