The joker shouldn't have one. Although The Joker is an amazing character, he's not even a video game character. He's from a comic book, and is only in certain games for Batman. It's not like he was made by a game developer. He should win a comic book character prize. Not something like this. I find it unfair that hard working game developers create these amazing characters, like Nathan Drake and Wheatley, but The Joker, who wasn't even made by a game devoper, wins game character of the year.

I think that it was because Arkham Joker's provided such a nostalgia trip for Batfans like myself. Although, I'd give a three-way tie between Joker, Drake, and Wheatley. All three characters are among my favorites. Still, this Joker probably won because of Mark Hamill and the fact that the games were essentially the animated series, (best TV show ever) so it's hard to not love the game.
