for the shading I like to use a Clay Eraser liek kneaded one. I find it doesn't leave my finger prints on the paper. Just a tip if you want. I also know of these sprays where you can spray your paper to keep it from smudging after your done drawing.

@909bluey Animals. There are people, objects, and landscapes but I've personally not done many animals. I was thinking of telling you to do a monkey, but I decided to be more descriptive. Also, if that seems too vague, difficult, or doesn't appeal to you (it doesn't appeal to many outside of pets) try a cultural setting that's unfamiliar to you. Seriously, just type it into google, Chinese street, African village, Native American tribes, etc.

I use steadler pencils and erasers (the white and blue woodcased ones) for drafting... I love them.. and the mars erasers erase almost everything.

This might seem like an unintelligent question, but wouldn't it make more sense to draw the things closest on the landscape first? That way, you do not have to erase things in the background like you have to do when you draw the further things in the landscape first.... yeahh.... awesome drawings by the way. Oh and I have the same sketchbook as you :D Except I don't think it's bad... but I have never used "Bristol Vellum" paper before either. Thank you for ALL of your tutorials!

@TiaChoSoul I think its common sense. Because if you draw a tree closer to your landscape it would be harder to draw the background because you have to avoid drawing over the tree and also it would save more time. Just saying. =)
