@themolesack - Mounts off the plastic core support (where the grille attaches to). It fits perfect in between the grooves of the grille. We make them in a 10 & 12 head version as well. The TIR6 (I'm assuming u mean the 500 series) would have to be mounted on a bracket. One option would be to mount them on a flat or 'L' bar, then mount to truck. Lights in the lower (larger) grille area will cut down on airflow to radiator, oil, & trans coolers so keep 'em high.
i like this set up as well i got a 2009 chevy avalanche black..i got two slim red/red lighters on the back and a small dash light on the windshield but i'm going to get mine set up just like this one.
how did you put the light in the grill. I have 4 tir6 and I am have been thinking of how I can mount them in the grill
