Broodwar is AWESOME. I played it for 8 years and still playd it sometimes.

Starcraft TWO sucks. Only thing better about it is the improved UI and automation. But some of the new units, and old units taken out, fucked the game up.

@GsBBoyDan Not really, its a different game. You are expecting a game that just came out to be as developed as impressive as a game that came 14 or so years ago.

I mean I love Brood war, I played it as I grew up and as weird as it sounds it made me a different person, but just because a new came out that you don't like doesn't make it a bad game. That is like saying Counter Strike is a bad game because you can't zoom in, or that Call of Duty 4 is bad because you can zoom in.

@Potts132 That is true, it might get better. Starcraft 2 is just a modified broodwar. Changed zerg hydra tech, removed defi and put in infest. Added couple units. Removed lurk and put in bane. Changed firebat tech and added stupid marauder that in combo with MM is the most efficient and lame composition in the game. Cors = phoenix, withoutt the awesome splash, and the useless micro that doesnt work. switched units abilityies etc The point is the took awesome things in BW and fucked them up.

@Potts132 Of course it's not all bad, the mining automaton, the QUEing, smartcasting, all really great improvements. I hate that units clump up, though. Some new units and abilities are great to. Stalkers with blink, phoenix gravity lift. Roaches burrow move. Etc.

But then theres the units that didnt need to be replaced. And the strategyless mandatory-or-you-lose abilities like concussive grenades, corruption. Or units the fill the role of other units. w.e I could keep going lol

@GsBBoyDan Actually I agree with alot of that. The unit's clumping up does suck, but that is what happens when they can path in more then 4 directions.

I also agree that there are units i wish stayed in the game (reaver, lurker, dragoon) but just the way the game is made, and the new mechanics of the game would make those units to powerful. Which sucks, but it had to change at some point
