One more question. Once you have reproduced the shape of the pickguard, what is the process to have the CNC interpreting it ? Do you export or save as DXF and feed the CNC machine directly with it ?
@espacecubase This was laser cut. I had it done at a printing shop. I just handed the file I made in Corel Draw, but pdf, eps, cad or any other vector vile will do the job. As far as I could tell, the laser cuter acts just like a regular printer.

I need a see through acrylic strat pickguard, but there is not a single store in Europe selling clear pickguards -.-
