also it is used to say "hi" to someone. it's in arabic "السلام عليكم" as he converted to islam that year, u can tell from the beginning of the video.

at the end he said "ma'ida" i dont know what the fuck he meant but possibly "greeting" or "معايدة" if so this last part doesn't fit where he said it, seems like he translated it word by word :D
