I think the lowness is great. A final feeling. Remember that the original score had such low notes with both hands harmonizing jay's voice.

i think that d chord progression u used is better than d others
but ur chords are bit too low starting from around 1:10 and u managed to get back to d middle range around 1:30
i suggest that u cross ur left hand over to play d single notes during d B section, its better than to let ur left hand jump and land inaccurately...
just some suggestions, no offence
