  • I don't know about you, but ive used simple mobile for a year now (since they first started). Ive never had data problems, and i was using roughly 5 gigs a month youtubing/downloading/etc.

  • aren't you able to sue for false advertising?? or did everyone forget about that??? just saying..

  • Does anyone know exactly when they supsend the 4G data speeds? Is it after 2 GB?

Well with T-Mobile prepaid, after 2 GB they just slow down the speeds to 2G...doesn't Simple Mobile do the same thing? Anyone know if there is any taxes on top of the $60 if you Reup with Simple Mobile online?

  • i went and read that section 16 what a fuckin joke ill never use this network

  • mine is working fine

  • Thanks I was about to get them and did not know this.

  • Scroll ALLLLL the way to the bottom of the page and read the terms and conditions.... duh

  • thanks for the heads up. i will steer clear of this provider.

  • What exactly did you do??

Theres a big chance u did something stupid with the service and got fucked because of it.. Make people believe ur story with details not just makin acusations..fool!!

  • Come on, what do you REALLY expect for 40$ or even 60$ a month? Try sprint, they advertise their service as being truly unlimited with no throttling. I use simple mobile and verizon, have never been cut off for either service, though I use them for mainly business, checking and sending emails, moderate web browsing and making phone calls, but even the big screen smartphones suck for web browsing or watching videos, IMO. Good luck with whatever carrier you choose.

  • Thanks for your review i was considering switching from t-mobile to a cheaper carrier so that i could finally buy a smartphone, but i just read the terms and conditions of simple mobile. Looks like I'm back to waiting.

  • @benthehen07 wow are you fucking stupid or some shit to get the fastest home Internet is like 120 a month I don't think it cost 1,000,000 a month to put out to phones ok if you use the same stuff on web on ur laptop as you do on ur phone ur laptop uses more gigabytes and unlimited means unlimited not how much the average person uses or to a certain point and the company should be sued I don't even have them I got AT&T but this shit sucks

  • (f) uses your Service or Device in a manner that is excessive, unusually burdensome, or unprofitable to us

  • Damn and I was about to buy an unlocked GSM Smartphone and Switch from Metro PCS to their unlimited plan...but I guess not!!!!

  • Dude, you are 1000% right. I had the same issue with them about 6 months ago and they just disconnected my data after 5 days and I was using android phone. I had the same argument that you had with them. Someone should sue that company, fraud business.

  • did you use the mobile hotspot if yes they dont allow that! simple mobile is the best !

  • this same exact thing happend to me with h2o wireless but even worst! i had just re-up on minutes and they cut my services. they said they define unlimited at 1500 minutes a month because its the average that people use. they said i used 3 times that in one week lol. but the fucked up part is they wouldnt refund my money i had just payed for another month. so ironically i switched to simple mobile and never had a problem with them.

  • your so dumb really ... you really think a company is going to let you clog up there data network for just 60 dollars a month.. the internet is unlimited if you dont abuse it

  • @benthehen07 Then they should just restrict it and change it to a certain GB a month not state that it's unlimited because unlimited only means how it is define, why r u defending a fraud and rip off company? They shouldn't be allow to false advertise like that, this is why all the big companies now don't offer that because they have been sued for false advertising. They think just because they are a big company they can do what they want but they shouldn't and will not.

  • they never responded even after i sent them numerous msg..i only use my fone for listening to pandora and some occasional calling..i've withdrawn the sim n gone back to tmobile no contract plan which is way better..dis company is a fraud, they shld be prosecuted..they promise u unlimited 3g, whereas, they're only on Edge network, i cldn't even play video/youtube on my phone right from the 1st day i started using..shame :(

  • HAHAHA holy fucking shit: (e) misuses your Service or Device as described herein; (f) uses your Service or Device in a manner that is excessive, unusually burdensome, or unprofitable to us.

UNPROFITABLE TO US? but its unlimited... this is a class-action lawsuit waiting to happen

  • I've had simple mobile for 2 years now it's good for the price but yes it is not "unlimited" they start "throttling" your data at about 3gigs if you plan to use just basic surfing and a Lil YouTube here and their than it's good.. If you want to use netflix or use your phone as a hotspot then this service is not for you.. They do need to let people know that it is not truely unlimited .. I use pandora every day and basic surfing "eBay,google,Facebook and YouTube... All and all good video but I'm

  • @Nh3man83 Thanks for your comment man, I'm undecided about SimpleMobile, I'm thinking of trying them out for a bit to see what happens. If worst comes to worst I can go to TMobile, but I figure it'll be cheaper than upgrading my plan on Virgin, even though I have to get a new phone for it.

  • your a idiot. ive been having simple mobile for several months now and its IS as advertised. Everything unlimited, I text out to the Dominican Republic make calls long distance and my phone bill is always $60. Don't fall for this lie people.

  • @MsChulaa how is it appropriate to call him an idiot? and its not a lie, he obviously had a bad experience

  • That's bullshit, I was really looking forward to using their device but they're just yet another phony lying crappy service. Really appreciate the warning man. Thanks!

  • With every phone company there's a handful of people who have been fucked over by them....

  • GUYS ITS SIMPLE TO COMBAT SIMPLE MOBILE (no pun intended). Call and state the FCC and FTC laws regarding false advertising and how hey dont specify a cap. Its the law and it works.

  • Yea I got the same msg. Its stupid. They did cut my friend service off. She had payed her bill two weeks b4 and they said she was using too much data. But her plan is unlimited. They didn't cut phone back on and didn't give sum of the money back.

  • Thanks for your help

  • @travisrambert1227 when you sign up with simple mobile you agreed to the terms and conditions.....read it!!

  • yes please switch over to t-mobile... even though simple mobile uses their towers lol fucking idiot...

  • what do you suggest we switch to after we got screwed over lol

  • Thank you for posting the video. I had a Simple Mobile rep tell me the plan was unlimited several times. When I asked to see the fine print he stated there was none..just unlimited data. I have ATT unlimited plan but I'm still limited to 5GB because of a cap. They all lie and it is in the open. Someone needs to file a class action case against them to stop the deceptive practices. Thanks for the video.

  • I was going to buy a $300 galaxy s 4g and get simple mobile on it ....BUT IM GLAD I FOUND YOUR VIDEO ....THANK YOU

  • @TheMexicaNigga you are so dumb

  • :D

    :)

  • OMG U JUST SAVED MY ASS FROM DOING THAT WITH MY MYTOUCH4G... GRRR

    :P THANKS ALOT

  • @hazelntricky i dont get this video

  • @prathammajmudar they dont use their complete network, they have the coverage equal to nextel

  • @elgabriels....u work for simple mobile? i believe it cuz if u stream videos all day like i do the cellphone companys piss their pants!

  • MATE >>>>YOU ARE THE LIAR. I HAVE BEEN USING SIMPLE MOBILE FOR 6 MONTH WITHOUT GLITCH AND THE DATA IS UNLIMITED AS ADVERTISED, UNLIMITED VOICE AND INTL TEXT>>>I EVEN USE MY PHONE AS MODEM >>> THIS IS A CRAP VIDEO!!!!

  • @elgabriels do you have 4G ?

  • Still no info on how much data you used, :-/ disappointing

  • @4c3NiNja f you have a compatible phone, look into T-mobiles monthly "no contract". I'm not saying the're perfect, but this is what I ended up switching to. They "have not" suspended me like My Simple did.

  • @carloss0903 Hmmmm...you sound very defensive. Do you work for My Simple Mobile? And, no I did not watch porn with this phone. Yes, my data was suspended about 1 or 2 days upon my receipt of this message. I would have gone over the ambiguous cap in 2 days had I been watching porn. Thanks! ;0)

  • 1. Permissible and Prohibited Data Uses

Your Data Plan is intended for Web browsing, messaging, and similar activities on your device and not on any other equipment. Unless explicitly permitted by your Data Plan, other uses, including for example, tethering your device to a personal computer or other hardware, are not permitted.

  • @mrchuckles087 No tethering was ever performed while I was under the My Simple Mobile service.

  • LOOK AT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS #25-1

  • wow seriously tell the full story before making a video bashing a company. every cell company will suspend service for excessive use of data. you have to remember tethering a cell phone is not a substitute for a home internet connection.

  • @mrchuckles087 I have T-mobile whom My Simple Mobile piggy-backs off of. After I go through their 5Gigs of Data under their $70 plan they cap you at 2g speeds. They "do not" suspend your service they simply slow it down. Thanks.

  • Metro pc shit the best

  • @luislagos24 They are good but their Smart Phones are very out of date by today's standards, and are overpriced. I had Metro PCS before switching to My Simple Mobile. I ran into the the aforementioned problem and that is way I was seeking some alternatives.

  • Thanks dude i was just thinking droping metro pcs to try simplemobile shit thanks dude

  • @luislagos24 Buy an approved Unlocked GSM Smartphone like a Mytouch 4g. You can get them on Ebay, but make sure the buyer is legit. Then you can use a Monthly "no contract" plan like the one T-mobile offers. This is what I recommend. You welcome. :0)

  • (Heavy sigh) Seriously... it behooves consumers to learn what they are buying before they buy it. You paid 40.00. What did you expect? AT&T?

  • @Jeano1965 No I paid $60 actually. It was their "premium" plan. I pay $10 more now ($70) through T-mobile and get great service! This is what I expect. We should all expect to be respected as consumers.

  • How much data did you exactly use? I mean, Verizon has throttled someone's LTE speeds before because they've used too much data. It can't be a torrent box...

  • @ItsLikeAShammy I was at about 3gigs of data, I believe. Their was no clearly defined data cap that was assumed from My Simple Mobile. Their definition of usage is rather ambiguous.

  • i got Charter Cable Internet a month ago....UNLIMITED HIGH SPEED lol.... 20 days later i get a text message saying that they're suspending my service if i keep downloading so much.... so i said ' **** you ' and canceled them - btw their limit was 250GB a month...for high speed broadband internet...and most of their customer service reps didn't even know there was a limit at all

  • @anarky4321 Unlimited with limits! I love it! Maybe they're using the same dictionary that My Simple Mobile is using? :0)

  • Wow dood, keep up the good work. Everyone should spread this video, with people like you showing these corps they can't do this, they'll be wary next time.

  • @Sylinic Thanks very much!! It's very unfortunate. It's obvious that from some of the comments I've received that people just expect deception. That we should assume that we are being deceived, and just be complacent and docile. We should all expect to be treated respectfully when giving companies our patronage. Thanks again!!!

  • @jramey1981 Haha no problem man, I saw a commercial for them on FX about a week ago, they marketed it to younger people(Obviously by the commercial theme and whatnot), and figured i'm look into it, but as a cynic I Googled "Simple Mobile Scam", and it led me here.

So thank you for assuring me it's bad. :)

    Subbed aswell:)

  • @Sylinic Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you found the video useful! :0)

  • If the phone is on their pre approved phone list, does it still have to b unlocked first?

  • thanks man i was very close to switch with me an the Unlimited every thing seduced me fawk them

  • Simple Mobile is saving me $23,00 a month now from T-Mobile's "Loyalty Plan" cost of $49.99 per month which with all the fees and taxes came out to $63.00 a month for TALK ONLY for the last 4 of seven years of loyalty! I asked for a better price since Cricket and other's offered unlimited talk-text-web for less than they were charging me for talk only and they offered me $39.99 per month if I signed a contract. That would still be about close to $50.00 for talk only w/ all the fees.Continued..

  • Comment removed

  • Anyone really think T-Mobile is really that great??? Think again. The customer retention rep simply asked if I wanted her to cancel my account when I didn't accept that crappy offer. That was a real person talking to me like that. You really think they give a damn???? She may as well have told me to f*^k off. Also, NO ONE offers unlimited anything. Continued.in next replies..

  • This guy says it perfectly:

"It's also called "marketing". Face it, NOTHING is truly unlimited if you want to push it to that extreme. But 5000 minutes (for example) is PRACTICALLY unlimited for MOST PEOPLE. It's only those who hit the caps or otherwise violate their terms (fair use policy) who get booted. ALL advertising is deceptive up to a point. How many times do you get that juicy Big Mac in the picture rather then that soggy one sitting in the warming bin? Read on...

  • There is no such thing as TRUE unlimited anything. Just how much they'll let you get away with before you run into a cap, or terms of condition that gets you tossed."

I'll tell you, I'm loving having bought an LG G2x for $180.00 in perfect condition and having unlimited talk (which is really all I care about), unlimited text, and unlimited web in the way that I need and use it for on the go web at my fingertips. More....

  • I'm f*^king stoked to be able to do what I'm able to with one of, if not the fastest smartphones around for $40.00 a month, and by the way, the dealer only charged me $5.00 for a SIM card and NO fees, That's $5.00 less per month than Cricket and NO roaming fees. For most people on their plans, Simple Moblie simply kicks ass! 'nuff said. After reading all this I invite you to check out some music to take your mind off this topic. Google Angel Edge

  • @AngelEdgeMusic Yeah T-mobile I'm sure has their problems. They are just much better than My Simple Mobile. From my experience, this isn't very hard to do. ;0) Good luck!

  • Wow thanks I was going to switch myself lucky I like to do my own research but thanks so much for putting this out

  • @antant7777 No prob! Thanks for watching!

  • it,s disgusting what carriers are doing in these days advertising unlimited and when you reach a certain GB of date they kick you out for violotiong their rules, seriously if your infrastructure cant handle all those heavy user dont advertise unlimited Period.. Thank You i have Simple mobile i know for a fact in the middle of the month my net slows down i think i reached what they call the threshold, i dont mind cause i dont use the net alot.

  • @SGTealc Thanks for the reply! I'm not saying they're perfect, but you may want to look into T-mobile's monthly no contract plan. They do slow you down, but at least they have clearly defined data caps. This is what I'm using now. My Simple just piggy's off of T-mobile anyways.

  • ur were using wifi tether,, thats not included

  • @TheMiloBoii1 Nope. No tethering at all. Just basic Youtube, browsing, and I used Tune In FM which is like Pandora. Thanks for the comment. :0)

  • @TheMiloBoii1 I've answered this question multiple times. No I was not tethering with this phone. I think I need to put this in the video actually. Thanks! :0)

  • My cousin bought the $60 plan and in three days of service his 4g was cut off and all he did was listen to pandora and check his facebook. I told him Simple Mobile was bullshit but he didn't listen soon after he went and bought a $50 no contract T-mobile sim card and everything worked out at least with T-mobile he gets the whole 2gb's of 4g. I myself have the $70 no contract T-mobile plan with 5gb's of 4g it's cheaper and I get more gb's then At&t's lowest contract plan

  • @XxxfjftokyoxxX Exactly! I have the T-mobile $70 plan for 5gigs of data at 4g. It's worked out great for me so far! Not saying they're perfect, but it's not hard to one up My Simple mobile. It's all T-mobile anyhow so why not just go to the source? :0) Thanks for the comment.

  • @XxxfjftokyoxxX HE GETS 2GB of DATA FOR 50??? PLEASE TELL ME I NEED THAT

  • @aWongCali it's easy just walk into any T-mobile store and buy a sim card then tell the rep you want the month to month $50 unlimited plan with 2Gb's or you could order the sim card I think it's called monthly 4g or something it's way better then being on contract and cheaper then AT&T plus I bought my phone off my buddy who filed a lost claim and T-mobile sent him another phone for $80 I came up on a Samsung galaxy 2 for $200

  • @aWongCali sorry I forgot to mention that it was$50 back then for unlimited talk, test and 2gb of web but T-mobile changed the plan to $60 the $50 plan only gives you 100mb of 4g web speed then throttles you back to 3g but it still offers unlimited talk and text

  • @animeindoorsir their TOS isn't very clear on what they define as "abuse" or "misuse". The TOS is vague at best. Check it out when you get the chance.

To the person who made this video, were you tethering using wifi or USB?

  • @alexkills Yeah it's very ambiguous. Nope no tethering Wifi. I just used it for Youtube documentaries while I was at work, and for basic web browsing. I listened to Tune In FM as well - pretty basic stuff.

  • "We appreciate you as a customer, but if you don't like our limited unlimited plan, take your number to a different carrier and fuck yourself."

  • @alexkills I love it! Well said!

  • I tried to pay for my service online and it took the money from my card than returned it, and said it declined due to lack of funds. I called and asked what happened the lady said I needed to contact my bank.. I asked the lady if they have had a high amount of cards declined on their website, she said they did yesterday but not today. They never fixed the problem they had the day before thats for sure. My question is simple. I wonder if T-Mobile is doing away with Simple Mobile since the buy

  • @RainbowDefender Yeah I had the same issue with them. I've already switched to just using T-mobile's monthly plan. It's a much better company, and they're the true carrier anyways. I pay $70 per month for up to 5gigs at 4g, and then they slow you to 2G speeds after. They do not suspend like My Simple. Thanks! :0)

  • @Jramey1981 We need a center party. One that will keep both the left and right more centered.

  • I saw a commercial for this carrier last night. I wondered if they were as good as they claim. I think I'll stick with net 10.

  • @pamlovsy2j May wanna check into T-mobile month to month. I'm getting up to 5G of data at 4g speed then capped at 2g speed thereafter. They do not suspend like My Simple Mobile, that I know of. Also, I believe Sprint has the only "truly" unlimited plan that I know of. Good luck. :0)

  • i thought $40 was unlimited? i went to pay my t-mobile bill at this prepaid place because "radio shack" doesnt do it anymore i dont know why but they don't and this dude talked to me about it and he said its produced my the t-mobile company and that you get unlimited talk/text/web for $40 a month and i was gonna look into that but in your video it says $40 unlimited talk and text thats good to i guess i mean i only use the web to download music

  • @biqqforlife88 Watch the video again please. Major carriers like T-mobile do "cap" your Data if you go over say 3Gigs or 5Gigs, etc. My Simply Crappy Mobile actually "suspends" your Data service if you go over an undefined and unclear amount of usage. I would, in no way, recommend using My Simple Mobile. If you still decide to....Good Luck.

  • This is the problem with people. Everyone thinks that just because it's cheap, it's the best deal. I love the $40 unlimited. All I need to do is make unlimited calls and have unlimited texts, and maybe check FB or G+. For everything else, I use the unlimited data on my iPad or use my home computer. If you'd rather be raped by Sprint, AT&T or Verizon, be my guest. At least they had the courtesy to stop you and not let your overages rack up and they charge you extra.

  • @androidtrucker I'm using T-mobile now and paying $70 per month. I get up to 5Gigs of Data at 4g speeds and then capped at 2g speeds thereafter. This is only $10 more than My Silly Mobile - not getting raped. Thanks. :0)

  • I've had simple mobile for 6 months with no problems works great :)

  • @killdonwhitehorse Well, if they work for you then that's fine. I'm only speaking from my own personal experience.

  • :0 liers 0:

  • @renosrico Exactly. :0)

  • People are so stupid. They never read the terms for what they sign up for and then yell about it when they break a condition. Every company (phone or internet service provider) has a limit on what you can use. People say it's unfair business and deceptive. But you are the retard who is giving your money to a company you know NOTHING about. It's your own fault you had this happen. Never say "I paid for something im not getting!" You paid for EXACTLY what you're getting. You just didn't read it.

  • @animeindoorsir You will be a wonderful citizen in George Orwell's 1984. Expect deception from those in charge, put your head down, and be a nice subject. I suppose I'm idealistic by actually expecting people to be respectful and up-front. I should expect horrible customer service, and complete disinterest from those I give my patronage to. So what does "Unlimited" mean to you? Is it what it is or is it not what it is? I can deceive you as long as I'm a corporation, and it's ok.

  • @jramey1981 Seriously? You are talking to people on the phone who almost make minimum wage. And you are calling in because you can't get on the internet, and you expect them to give a shit about you? Do you honestly understand how insignificant your problems are? You aren't talking to the company, you're talking to someone who gets paid to get idiots onto youtube. Im not saying ignore everything and take it up the ass. Im saying be a smart individual and read into what you are buying

  • I understand your pain buddy. I actually work for simple mobile and I do agree that they need to reword "unlimited" or at least provide their own definition of what "unlimited" means to them. Most of the customers who get their data cut is because of "continuous web broadcasting" which is in the terms and conditions under restricted usage.

  • @mattyfizzle Thanks for being up-front and honest about it. That's all I'm saying. If it's not "Unlimited", don't overtly advertise that it is. I don't think it would dissuade people if it were at least more candidly advertised. Most places do have a data cap, but they usually just slow you down - they don't suspend your data completely. Thanks again for being honest.

  • Been using simple mobile on my flashed HTC HD2 phone since March 2011. Unlimited all day. Even tether a lot on it. Tethered my laptop all day for two days and got a warning they are going to suspend but they never did and I tethered a lot still afterwards - but not all day for two days like I did before.

I have the 60 plan but just put my wife on the 40 plan they just put out no too long ago. She has a galaxy 1. Going to hack it so it can tether as well. Simple Mobile for the win people.

  • @RoganRicheart Hmmm....I don't know what to say exactly. I wasn't even tethering and was suspended. I would consider yourself very fortunate. I am only speaking from my experience.

  • @jramey1981 Yeah possibly lucky. I know I go over 2 gigs a month on the regular.

  • what kinda phone is that? that phone is sweet ass

  • @ciller1985 HTC Mytouch 4g.

  • LOL they are an American business, why on earth would you expect them to be honest? Really why would they be???????????? If you don't like it the best you can do is vote democrat, and do everything in your power to get out the Democratic vote in 2012. Remember god wants you to vote Republicans and make sure you hide your little girls from pedophile gay men! Really honest American companies are a thing os the past. If you want them to be a thing of the future vote democrat!

  • @RainbowDefender Yes. We are finding ourselves in a seemingly more Fascist state. I'm definitely not Republican, but I'm not Democratic either. I think we live in a two-party dictatorship. Both sides are subjects of Washington Lobbyists, and the people have little to no say. I think the best thing we can do, if we are to vote, is to vote independent. We need to stop fooling ourselves by rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic every four years.

  • what the fuck are you talking about, this is a guy talking about cell phone what are you saying move your rainbow ass on

  • and what? it's still cheap. have u tried to check on your accound how much traffic did u use? i'm sure is more than 2GB. and that's enough. every service for example banks have their own terms and conditions. and in fact u have to read it before accepting. yeah.... if it's really unlimited people will use it as a hot spot everywhere with no restrictions. that sounds amazing but not real

  • @Sjeyy It's really sad. People just expect to be deceived today, and think it's shocking that I expect a company to be candid with me. We can do the most powerful thing in this supposed "free-market" society, and simply not give these people our business. Expect more from those you give your patronage to.....Please!

  • @WorldTurnBlack You may want to check out T-mobiles month-to-month if you are willing to purchase a GSM phone or if you have one that is already compatible. That's what we ended up doing. Check out the comment I gave to ashraj above for some more details or check out their website. Not perfect but at least it is a "real" company.

  • wow ! they just suspended me too. wtf.

  • @prissweb They are simply crappy!

  • FLASH EVO 3D tO BOOST MOBILE (ITS TRULY UNLIMITED EVEN FOR TETHERING ) THANKS FOR THE VIDEO youre a champ

  • @DonMallatia Thanks!!

  • im glad you made this video man cause i was about to be in rage if i would of bought the samsung galaxy s2 and got this message im about to buy a the metro pcs lg esteem and call it a day its to much crap you have to deal in order to use these smart phones on a budget these days but thanks again

  • @cure249 You may want to look into T-mobile's month-to-month. I've mentioned it in some other comments. Not perfect, but if you are using a GSM phone anyways it may work for you. My g/f and I ended up doing this. Good luck :0)

  • @prathammajmudar It may work for you if you don't use your phone that much. If that's the case then it's fine. They don't really have stores like traditional carriers. Mostly they have authorized dealers which are gas stations and things like that. I'm not sure if a gas station attendant would have a vested interest in my dissatisfaction with MySimpleMobile. They do have customer service that you can call, but it is obvious that they have no pride in their jobs.

  • @MrSpacetigerberry No prob! Thank you

  • At simple mobile* hey lets just choose some random phone numbers to suspend *covers eye* this one!

  • I am a simple mobile customer for a year and change based in Miami. I recently realized that on my $40 plan I had 3G data and has been using it on my old Palm Treo 680 phone. It's not a current gen phone able to keep up with the 3G speeds and I use probably 80Mb per month for the most. I never received that message but I really believe you man. These bastards all cheat and lie to customers. How the hell can you abuse an unlimited phone plan????!!!!

  • @itofficer02 Very true! Thanks for the response....it is so ridiculous!

  • you are right. I got the $40 unlimited plan and to my suprise today i received a text stating i used too many voice minutes, and i was at risk of getting suspended. This is a fraudulent company who lied to me. when you call them they say their is no limit what so ever ha ha yeah right.

  • @leefrank1990 Not saying they're perfect, but you can probably switch to T-mobile's month-to-month plan. That's what my girlfriend and I ended up doing. They do have data caps for the 4g, but at least they don't "suspend" data usage. I believe they have $50, $60, and $70 plans. The $70 gives you up to 5gigs at 4g speeds then they cap you at 2G speed for the rest of the month. Still much better than MyShittyMobile.

  • Yeah these guys must leave a trail of sludge wherever they walk. ;) So they suspend "unlimited" voice too. Wow! Amazing!

  • i've used the $60 plan before and it worked great and fast for most of the 30 days, but it is not unlimited like what this guy says. I use the web a lot, and it started the internet network started slowing down for me because I guess I exceeded the data rate

  • Did you tether at all?

  • @sirnubenegra No I did not attempt to Tether it. I just used it for normal things like videos etc.

  • I will be leaving simple mobile in a couple days. the deceive their customers. My max 3g speed at ALL times was 119 kbps. which is not even decent 2g speed. I can't do anything with simple mobile and i have to worry about getting disconnected.

  • @ashraj Go with T-mobile's month-to-month. I have left some comments to others about the details if you wanna check it out. They are not perfect, but Myshittymobile just piggy-backs off them anyways so it is a good transition. They also do slow you down depending on the data caps on the plan you choose. However, they do not suspend your account from my recent experiences.

  • @jramey1981 yeah i just switched to tmobile's monthly4g plan. so far its been pretty good. I like the fact that they dont disconnect you if you go over on data usage. I hope tmobile gets the iphone next year.

  • @ashraj Awesome! I've heard the Galaxy is pretty nice too. I think they do have that one available. I've not used the Iphone but hear it's one of, if not, the best out there. Glad things are working out. :0)

  • h2o works amazing mms 3g data everything works on the iphone 4 i have mine on os 5 with everything working good service and everything and u do not have to unlock ur phone u can port ur number and u get 20 bucks of free int calling there customer service suck but just go online and they will help u its amazing service i recommend getting it

  • I"ve never had a problem with simplemobile, at all.

  • Wtf Lol

  • Doesn't every "unlimited" plan have a limit? Same thing happens with cable internet. All companies have some type of cap.

  • The hotspot feature.

They have a unlimited everything plan for $60 or unlimited talk, text and 250 mb of data for $50 a month.but not sure about the fine print I've never used no more than 3gigs of data a month so I don't know if they'll slow down your speed or not

  • Well h2o works off of att towers so if your using a iPhone everything works, including 3G speeds, FaceTime and

  • Daaaam, thanks for the warning, i was just about to switch from metro to simple mobile, lol guess ill be staying, Ive never had metro suspend my account for anything at all, lol thanks for the info....

  • @craigcreationz Yeah I had Metro for 2 two years, right up until I switched to My Simply a Lie Mobile. I thought it would be a better choice because I could pick a more up-to-date smartphone than Metro offers. It didn't turn out as I'd planned, needless to say. I would watch out for Metro if you are getting a supposed "unlimited" data with them. I never had any issues with them when I had a normal phone with voice & text. However, they may have a data cap on their "Unlimited" service also

  • i knew there was a catch to it! my thoughts were" if a big network like at&t can't offer unlimited because of capacity and backhaul issues, then how is a little network that uses t-mobile towers gonna handle all that traffic?

  • @ubuntulinuxrules That's a very good point. T-mobile offers an "Unlimited" service which is pay-per-month and the they actually start slowing you down to 2g speed after 100mb worth of data usage. That's enough for a couple music videos on Vevo and now you're slowed to 2g. They all just falsely advertise, and it's pretty shameful.

  • I agree with you 100%. I was planning on joining up with simple mobile but now I'm not too sure.I wonder how great is h2o unlimited plan

  • @SuperJj2345 I've not heard of H20 before. What do they offer?

  • @jramey1981 H2o wireless recently started offering an unlimited $60 a month plan also and I've had them a couple of weeks now and idk, I haven't had any issues other than that even though they go off ATT towers the data isn't very fast, it's been a decent service though. I'm using H2o wireless on my Atrix, keep in mind that if you use a TMobile phone unless you have the right frequencies you won't get 3G being as it's an MVNO of ATT. If you don't mind me asking, how much data did you use anyway?

  • @jramey1981 However with H2o wireless they do have really bad hold times lol, and you can't setup your voicemail on too new of a phone otherwise it screws up and you have to call them to reset it. I had to setup my voicemail via a spare unlocked phone I had and the tech supervisor told me I could have also used a land line.

  • You posted your video on the 21st, yesterday they released a new plan $40 for unlimited with up to 3G web """UP TO""" and for $60 unlimited 4G

  • @orgy9111 My issue is not about speed of service. It is about usage. If they say it is "Unlimited" usage and put a cap on "Unlimited" usage it is not truly unlimited. This is paradoxical. Speed is a wholly separate issue from what I was talking about.

  • @jramey1981 many people (including myself) dont really see the fine print. says its unlimited for the average user for daily use, not primary. on average, most companies cap it at 5 gigs and again most just make the speeds slow. had no idea they actually cut it :P thanks for the info actually

  • @3amorning Yeah that's true. They all cap it at a certain point as I've realized. Even places like T-Mobile have an "Unlimited" pay-per-month, but they cap you at 100mb of data. After that you are crawling at 2g speeds. I guess it is better than being completely cut off like Simply a Lie Mobile. However, it's still a lie all the same. ;)
