  • Dear Brother,

I have seen you video, and really appreciate for this. I will be very much obliged to you, if you kindly help me to know - what do I need for 1(one) Kw system for my house. Kindly note I am living in Karachi, Pakistan.

Waiting for your kind reply please.

    Kind regards.

    Your faithfully,

    Yemenifish

  • You might want to add a VERY important piece of equiptment....unless you want to destroy your inverter and burn down your house! A fuse at the positive battery terminal is a needed item!

  • Buy silver bullion, invest in your future.

  • how many solar panel i need to run the air cone? pls reply...

  • Most single panels are 180 watts. Considering i don't know the exact specs on these panels remember it just an estimate.

  • I converted my home to a net-zero solar powered home that uses no oil or gas....

  • wow that sounds really loud! You should in case the generator in some kind of sound reducing material. And you should put a muffler on that as well :-) I have a gas generator in my garage for emergencies, and when I'm running it you can hardly hear it about 10 feet away. But I have it and closed in a sound muffling enclosure.

  • does a panel need fuse just in case ???

if it does can i know where

  • what is the point of showing the voltage .... that number alone does not mean anything .. let me see the amps.... i want to see the power it generates ... the walts

  • if thats a clay tile roof the panels will fly off, germans replaces the clay with rubber tiles

  • Everyone's talking about the solar deal that's going on @ Solar-Deals(.)com. 3 x 6 Evergreen Solar Cells for $0.70 per watt. Starting at $149.99! It's better then on ebay and cheaper!

  • 50v won't do anything just bring it down to 18v and big amps that thing is like 3A solar panel.

  • @need4speed402 4.6A 230w 50v

  • Cool. Good for a light bulb or 2.

  • U say a bulb or 2, lol..

I run a smaller 90 watt solar panel and run 5 (cfl13watt) light bulbs for 12 hours at night using 2 --40ah batteries..and I am sure my batteries can go over 24hrs and even more if I wanted

  • Are you using regular car batteries? Sounds like you are

  • no, I am using 2 hawker batteries used in hazard areas

  • info you can find for free if you do a search

  • Truly amazing... that's about enough solar to power 2 light bulbs... Don't dispose of that generator just yet...

  • That's truly amazing! I slashed my electric bill in half! look here: solar.xfollow.me (Copy to your browser's address bar)

  • i have got 2. 80 w 12v panels but have got 48v inverter do i get one more 80w panel ?????

  • You need at least 48V, but more like 48V + 20V or around 70V. Look for an Outback, MX60, FM60, or FM 80 Charge MPPT controller

  • We are SENIOD SOLAR PV Super panels factory from China, we make 10-220Watt solar panels with high quality and good price, who want to being our dristributor? please visit 3w dat seniod-solar dat com

We design and offer only the best solar grid and off-grid tie system at the absolute lowest cost. All major kits include you need to complete the solar park project and start lowering electric bills.

  • Sorry, to ask this kinda stupid question, but is the "V" in 50.2 V stands for Volts?

  • Yes.

  • solargoogle-com

  • Yea Bro, I know what it stands for! I wish you the best with your solar endeavors! Continue on and harvest that sun! Gotta' love that sun power!!! sweet stuff, Eh bro????? Nice.....

  • Hope he used a MPPT charge controller! It is designed for the smaller PV arrays and helps to get every bit of "juice" out of the panels! Up to 30% more output! Not more than the panel is rated, but more efficiently extracting the wattage from the panel! The old kind of charge controllers are not that efficient!

  • Yes, we used Phocos MPPT 100/20 Solar Charge Controller. (MPPT stands for "Maximum Power Point Tracker")

  • pretty cool. That one solar panel makes your roof look bare.

  • The panel's maximum power (Pmax) is 210 W. The total cost of the system (panel, charge controller, battery, inverter, installation/work, state tax: 8.5%) was 2576 € (about $4056). The cottage is located in Slovenia (Europe).

How much you can power with it depends on the amount of sunshine hours you get. More in the summer, less in the winter or when cloudy. Multiply power with the time of sunshine and you get watt-hours (Wh).

  • so is that mean that one panel producing 50.2 volts of electricity???

i need 220v,so if i get 4-5 of those panels ill be good?,and i went to that web page its in different language ...maaan :((

    give me some info please

  • no, solar panels produce DC voltage, unusable by you, you must convert it to AC with a converter...

  • Unless its off grid

  • The new page is gona be in 1 mounth ... with all product and ....

  • Can you split cost... I would like to know for example how much did you pay panels and battery inverter charge control.

  • the cost of sanyo 230 watt is almost 4.5$ per watt, just for a single PV module of 230 watt, you will need hardly a charge controller of 10 ampere size, and abattery of 10Amp-hour capacity for storing 1000 watt energy during 5 hours daily sun time, of course you can have more number of battery but the cost of battery is high , for 100amp-hour 12 volt battery it costs 250$, charge controller may be 100 dollar and inverter of 500watt size as u have only one module, it may cost u 200,

  • ofcourse these are offgrid inverter, they can be used for lighing purpose and TV usage.

with this type of system you only can store and use 1000 watt hour power per day which is equivalant of one 100w bulb turning it on just for 10 hours, or 2 50 watt bulb for 10 hours usage.

  • What was the total cost of panel and installation?

  • nice oversized roof dude. lol

  • Great video! So i imagine 1 panel is about 150 watts or so. I too am curious how much it can power.

  • power of these modul is ... 230W SANYO

  • What are you powering with that one panel? I am in the middle of building my cabin in remote area where there is no electric and looking into solar to power things

  • nice
