Not a great cover... not the worst cover I've ever heard by a long shot. "Animal" is just flat out a really cool song and I wouldn't fault anyone for wanting to try their hand at it. Nice nod to Neon Trees from a more established band and that can never be a bad thing. The main problem with this one is that Train just doesn't send out the same kind of energy as does Neon Trees, and this song needs that energy.

Everyone who is hating, I don't know if you've heard anythin by Train...., but they obviously sing more pop rock for a reason... Neon Trees and Train are both great bands, but Train has had more recognition (cuz they've been around longer), i'm sure Neon Trees is pretty flattered that a successful band such as Train has covered their single. It's obviously not going to be the best cover, but at least they are recognizing a great song.
