THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!! i have to read this for english because i have a quiz over it tomorrow and im a reallyyyyy slow reader and i keep wondering with my thoughts while reading this and then i forget what i read! to have this read aloud to me reallyyy helps!! thanks again! im soo happy i found this :D
ok so at the end the prince kills the man in the red costume who had the red death sickness and the man gave all the people the sickness and they all died?
@StrobieStudios no There was a sharp cry -- and the dagger dropped gleaming upon the sable carpet, upon which, instantly afterwards, fell prostrate in death the Prince Prospero.
@K1ng0fHearts99 Yes, you are correct. Prince Prospero (and everyone else in attendance) is killed by the red death. I guess I didn't read disneylandfreack's comment closely enough... ;)
Please check out my cinematic depiction of the Spirits of the Dead written by Edgar Allan Poe. I recently shot this short film about a man walking into a church and reading this macabre poem. Just click on my name and it will bring you right to it.
I cannot beleive it! You used the same exact tune to start your story as I used for my preview for my Red Death movie. I swear I did not plan this out!!!!!! This is a very strange coincidence!!!!!
@DarkWriter31 Yup, that's what we were going for. We also do several old time radio type shows - The Watson Files and The Ark of Time. Check out our channel for those as well.
I wrote a thesis on this story in English story and my teacher really liked it so she read it to my class after reading other failed attempts by my class mates.....I was so happy. If Poe was listening I hope he was proud...My favorite author
This is amazing. Thank you so much for adding music in the background as well! Your voice and the music echo the atmosphere of the story. A+++++++++++!!!
@xXxAngelicKratosxXx Awesome commentary... I hope you check out some of the other things too! The Watson Files and The Ark of Time are good fun times :)
Great job! I love it! We are reading this story in our English class, and our teacher played this video so that we could follow along in our books. It really helps with the visuals and the music matches perfectly.
Thank you for making this video. I was planning on making a movie based around Poe's masque of the red death, and listening to the story again with such a creepy voice and style really got creative juices flowing
This solo is also played on this vampire dress up game i used to play...kept playing it cause of the music :)

Well done! Images really match the story. Music is interesting, kind of like an older radio production.

@Horror3000 I've never before thought of my voice as creepy, but in this case I suppose it's a compliment :)
