It is way over used. It really is harsh its just now everyone goes from 0 to douchebag instantly. Maybe we are witnessing a word go out of style. It is kind of losing its power since you have to analyze if someone means it or is being exaggeratory out of habit of using the word to indiscriminately.

I just go with D-bag cause I'm just not ready to rid it of my vocabulary of it just yet lol.
