Well...honestly, I think its Char's sisters Fault. Salya. If she didn't zoom stupidly in front of Char like a moron, Char wouldn't have gotten the warning from Lalah that stunned him, and that made him hesitate, which allowed armuro for the opening to kill him. And the rest is history.

@FleetOfRetribution I've seen you on other postings. Its not like you couldn't figure that out using common sense. But I've read your thoughts on these matters and I agree with you. But sometimes, Japanese lyrics and thoughts aren't always translated to the general audience well. So these Americanized songs are what we get in place of the original epic japanese music like in the games, show, and movies. Haha.

It's still generally sucky. All he seems to do is write his own lyrics to the music of the songs. Even a crappy translation would be more appropriate. He's not even translating them half the time, or trying to. I can understand losing some of the original idea, but the songs aren't even closer in lyrical content that's why I tell people that Kotzen's songs suck. Andrew W.K managed to make Gundam songs in English, and actually translated the lyrics.

I just wish his audio quality was better, I wanna hear what he is saying and singing in english if you take the time to do it like that. Lol. Atleast in the western sense Richie kind of did okay, though some of the lyrics stretch to get there. It isn't horrible but its bad, the songs themselves I would enjoy if they were stand alone. And Andrew is okay, I liked it, didn't enjoy his work. XD

Not really. It's more like a "singable and more understandable" english adaptation of the original lyrics, which are quite different. The original is written in a more japanese metaphorical way, which isn't what we occidental people are used to.

Gackt's version is also good, but why did he change the lyrics so much? Leave the english parts normal and translate the japanese and rephrase it in a way that makes sence, you dont have to completely remake the song.

Well, I don't know it for sure. But after reading a "literal" translation to the lyrics, I found it was pretty nonsense (at least for occidental people to understand). After all, Tomino (he wrote the original lyrics) tends to express himself in a curios way, so it isn't a surprise that his lyrics are difficult to translate or interpretate.

I don't like how they bullshitted their way through the plot in the prequels to just throw stuff on screen. yoda with a saber? please. This is where it's at I'd like to find english versions of all the songs this one was superb. I can watch the first Star Wars movie sometimes that one is a good solid fantasy flick. The EU in starwars can get pretty cool though especially the new Darth Bane books.

@Satanicallyfree I agree. The first trilogy IS Star Wars. The rest is just George trying to milk the fans for what he can. The EU is pretty nice at times during that period but those movies were produced from the first draft. It's so obvious he wrote everything and didn't even proof read it. The blockade serves what purpose again? To persuade the princess to sign a treaty? Then how is she at risk at all? A treaty ends hostilities yes? Not seeing what the threat was.
