Actually 1100 is not bad. My friend bought a male Ekkie and he was 1600. I was lucky as far as Ms. Gypsy is concerned. She was given to me about 3 yrs. ago. She is about 16 years old or so now.

Yeah, we paid 1200 for our african grey, he's about 2 now and we bought him when he was 3 weeks old but didnt bring him home until he wasabout 2 months or so because at the time I was pregnant with our son and he was being hand fed 4 times a day and at specific times.. and didnt want to risk me going in labor and not being able to find osmeone that would be able to feed him at the certain times.
