Deathcore is a genre fusion of metalcore and death metal, metalcore is a genre fusion of hardcore and metal, so obviously Emmure is going to have a few similarities to hardcore (i.e., the crowd interaction), but that's about the only thing they take from original hardcore.

Deathcore is a genre fusion of metalcore and death metal, metalcore is a genre fusion of hardcore and metal, so obviously Emmure is going to have a few similarities to hardcore (i.e., the crowd interaction), but that's about the only thing they take from original hardcore.
Completely different genres of music, man. At least attempt to appreciate the musical aspect.

this is actually funny. Im not gonna begin on how bad this band really is. Well they play tight but they write horrible music. Its been done many times before so its no way a new sound or pushing the envelope. Listen to Bury Your Dead, they do the same shit, maybe a lil betta. I just dont know how many breakdowns u need in a single song, and it all sounds the same. These guys need to write better music.

Poor Emmure. Maybe its just me, but what happened to showing your love to the band for their efforts and sounds by dancing a little two step. A gang chant is not supposed to last the entire song and if they want to sing the whole song with the mic, then they need to start their own band. So Emmure come to philly, or NJ we will show you love by giving you one gang chant with much two stepping, windmills, and hitler marches and we will break up our own fights as it should be.

why would you show your love to a band that USED to be nice dudes but got all caught up in "fame" and "fortune" and didn't give a shit about the people that came out 2 or 3 years ago for them. Thats sad that the emo scene has made hardcore to the point where a video is posted on youtube and people like you comment on if people can dance or not. Its not a dancing contest. Hardcore dancing is nothing concrete. Its whatever you feel like doing during a breakdown. Real hardcore doesnt deal with hair products and skin tight jeans. Its usually about brutally dishing out the breaks.
Please deal with it, and go watch a "how to hardcore dance" video to make yourself feel better.

sorry! it's not easy trying to get shots of the musicians when there are a hundred kids surrounding them but shooting just the crowd in a zoomed out manner can be too dull, we try to make it work, sometimes the conditions are tricky..(plus was testing out a new zoom mic that night) thanks for checking out the vid bro!
