hey gotbletu, been watching ur videos, and i'd like to thanks for helping ppl changing into linux the easy way! anyway, id like to ask u if gscan2pdf recognizes simplified chinese? if not, is there any software that does the job in linux? i use windows xp in virtualbox only to use two softwares that i havent found for linux, one is text to speech and the other is ocr in simplified chinese! thx m8
Great programm, newbie with Linux Mint. This is first class. It recognised my Canon Lide 60 scanner and it works.

@koshinda no chinese support at the moment, but u can try Abbyy Finereader under wine, think version 8 or below works fine

You can import pdf files in Gimp, do the edits(like if it was an image) and then you can export it :D
