I'd have to disagree. The fastest laptimes for group C cars are just seconds off of today's current LMP1 cars, which is horrifically fast considering Group C came about back in the 80's.

No, but I've seen Group C cars against faster cars then this. Remember that GT500 class cars are limited to, as per the name, 500 hp. Group C cars had a minimum of 600hp and as much as 800+ hp and could produce as much as 6,000 lbs of downforce at top speed.

Yes of course i have heard of that ugly, over priced, over hyped car! So it does 407kmh, takes it along time to reach that speed though (gets to 300 quick, but takes its sweet time to pull those last few kmh), it would not reach that speed on Fujis' straight! Hence i said quickest not fastest, there is a very distinct difference! But im sure if you had a long straight the Nissan would easily go beyond 407kmh (but it is a race car) as It has an extra 200hp & weighs half as much, pretty obvious!

yeah. It's not a Skyline. haha. The R35 isn't a skyline. What most people don't know is that in Japan, Nissan sells this type of car called the Skyline. Then, you have your famous Skyline GT-R's, where the BNR32, BNR33, BNR34 and R35 come in..
