  • Heavens to Eddie Cochran! I don't see how any of those Teddy Boys ever had time to get into any trouble....must have take them most of the day to get their hair to look like that! Strictly from coolsville, daddy-o! Wish I'd had the pompadour cream concession back then....I'd have been able to retire to the French Riviera! THANKS for posting this delightful "blast from the past"! :)

  • Johnny recorded for Goldband but he also recorded for Jay Miller who was best known for his Louisiana blues recordings.

    'A whole lotta fun' was recorded by Jay in his studio in Crawley.The original title was 'Rockin' and Rollin' and was issued

    on Excello records.Guitar Gable's band is backing him on this recording (who also backed Slim HARPO on 'I'm a King Bee')
