I've read a lot of interpretations of the lyrics for this song, I think they're all valid. In addition to most political and personal interpretations of the song, here's my take. I think the song's lyrics are highly sexual.

Ok, i see what you mean, but in my opinion lots of electronic songs feel overly-polished if that makes sense, (although I bet there are many that aren't, just havent heard them). There is just something about a rock band approach that seems more "human" to me, although if a band used a physical electric drumkit, etc. it still probably could retain the same quality.
