To be honest the kid is an idiot you maybe take a risk on a $250 gray market watch but when you are spending thousands why take that risk? I always have watch checked out by my jeweler even when purchasing lower end gray markets if I spent 11,000 I would head straight to Tourneau

Seriously, a real Rolex does not cost that little as $500. Anywhere you buy a replica Rolex would range from $25 to $100. When the seller tries to charge $500 on a Rolex, it's for sure a replica and the scammer claims it real one for the price that high. If I were to buy a replica Rolex, the max I would go is $80 or it's going to be the real one at $7,000 for a certain model.

A lot of dumb comments on here. A real Rolex is so finely finished, one with basic knowledge of them can see a fake while in hand. Fakes are for losers, and are completely illegal. Real Rolex watches are considered as good as currency in most countries, and do NOT really devalue unlike stock over time.

Your almost right. The only thing that matters in a rolex is the movement, which will cost you. You can get a replica band and case that nobody could ever know was fake and just slap a real movement in it. Suddenly you have a watch worth 5k(depending on many things, like what the band is made out of, etc).
