Episode 2: NoVA Dashcam Compilation - Bad Drivers

I noticed a few comments saying 'that's not so bad'. Every accident or near hit I have ever witnessed was caused by 'no so bad' behavior like what is featured in this video: Failing to signal, sudden lane changes, tail gating, cutting in too close, passing on the right, high rates of speed during inclement weather, over-taking instead of yielding, careless pedestrians jaywalking, drivers ignoring bike lanes and crosswalks. A flashing blinker does not give you the right of way. Love these vids!

@Sliverbane To be fair to those commenters, this is my most tame video of the five I have so far. At the same time, you're absolutely right. All it takes is one person not paying attention at the right time for an accident to happen. Thanks for looking at all of my videos, and for subscribing!

Good use of the editing zoom and speed changes. Really draws the viewer's attention to the right "subject". I know it adds a lot more time/difficulty to the project workflow but without it the viewer doesn't feel drawn into the ride and part of the "EEK!!!" Did that car really just DO that???!!".

@hwugh1 Well to my editing software's credit, panning and zooming is actually very easy to do. I use the same function to block the license plates with an image, but because that has to be so precise, that's what actually takes the most time. Every little bump adds 1 minute (doing the work, then checking it). Thanks again for all of your comments!

@CPWindsorsub If I do say something witty or entertaining (or if someone riding along does), I try to include it. Unfortunately, I rarely say anything other than "nice" when something happens. Look down in the comments here for a user named Baddriversoz and check out his videos, if you like hearing teh road rage. Make sure there aren't any kids around when you listen.

I said it once, and I will say it again....the way people drive today is like herding a bunch of retarted cattle. I drive a truck for a living, and I bought a dash cam to save my ass if someone does something stupid to wind up under the front of my dump truck. I made a 10 minutes video in 3 days worth of driving!!!! pretty bad in this day and age.

@MovieInventor As a matter of fact, I almost never honk. Usually what I have in my car is some talk radio stuff (that I definitely don't want to start discussions with on YouTube), or death metal, or other music that I'm not exactly proud to be listening to. If you check out my other vid, there's two clips with 'real' audio at the end, that I included because it was my wife's funny comments.
