  • This is cute and cool haha

  • ...for the 12 people that disliked this video, i want to know your excuse coz there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with it. you are just moody people who dislike videos for NO reason, and if your reason is "i dont like horses"then you are a retard for even watching this video. ghooshhh

  • that looks amazing to do so wanna do it bet you made loads of friends there all horse lovers xxx carnt wait to get my new horse woooooow xxx

  • that looks like fun

  • yeah its the spectators screaming. however i get loud when i am having a blast. wooohoooooo!!!! lol this looks like so much fun!

  • Awwwww :`)

  • Yes, galloping is great-we all love it, but screaming and shrieking sounds so amateurish-imagine if all the riders who ride horses in training were to shriek every time their horse got out of a canter! It is just so much nicer to gallop quietly, just you, your horse, your quiet companions, the thud of the hooves and no silly screaming!

  • too many screaming girls-why do silly girls scream when they get out of a canter? If you can't gallop confidently, don't shriek, as it sounds silly-do jockeys shriek? do endurance riders shriek? no, they just ride quietly.

  • @Oakleaf700 Shrieking doesn't necessarily = fear. Someimes it feels so grea that you cut loose and whoop. Same as riding with the top down in a sports car, sometimes it just comes out and you scream! I'm no "silly girl" but when my old man and I used to just open up and run, the freedom and the adrenaline would make me "wooooooooooooooooooo". Especially in groups. Jockey's have a job to do, and they need to stay focused. Don't be a poopy and loosen up! lol

  • @Oakleaf700 there screaming because it's fun! I know i would! :]

  • @WannaBeLambs I love a gallop as much as anyone-but screaming is not normal. One thing that is good is to gallop with an I-pod. Heck, if someone was to scream like this people would think you had a screw loose! Even as a kid no one screamed.

My little son [aged 4 at the time] had a gallop, and he didn't scream!]

  • @Oakleaf700 You realize it's not the riders screaming, don't you? It's the spectators and the people filming, they're are cheering the riders on. People do that at shows too, like when someone wins, the people from their barn will cheer and clap for them.

  • I have a LOT of expirence for your info 10 years! Its not my fault people want machines not horses u lot think your so smart and special but your not think how the horses feel thats why half of them die YOUNG such idiots.

  • absolutly stupid do u now think about how tired the horse is? TWENTY miles is WAY over the top i like my horses legs and like to keep them nice and INJURY FREE! for god sake some people think there machines not horses......

  • 20 miles is fine. Don't be negative with no experienced girly.

  • @lucygossiegander Twenty miles is nothing! My boyfriend works at a hunt kennels and their horses trot about that every day... I don't think this is really a 20 mile gallop though? Your horse literally would have to be a machine for that... Probably a 20 mile ride with some gallops...

  • i love how the horses near the back of the group look slightly out of control lmao :)

  • awsome! i would luv to do that! i kinda have tho. every saturday during the summer kids with tuma, lucimia or cancer came down the field to ride our horses. ( i dident mind tho!) to say thanks 4 all the help we gave her, she took us 2 tywell. IT WAS AMAZING! like billions of open fields everywhere! our ponies luve it and we did a lot of galloping.....( with breaks in between obviously) thanks wucy!!!!!!!!!!( lucy)

  • nice !

  • That's awesome!! i wanna do that to i'm gonna search at google if something like that is in Holland to!! cause i live in Holland and i'm getting my own horse very soon!!

  • SOOO I MEASURE HIM THAT WAY!

  • Then your incorrect.

There are 4 inches in a hand, and so the fourth is a hand.

    Therefore it would go 17hh, 17.1hh, 17.2hh, 17.3hh then 18hh

  • ooooooo I WANNA go there, that looks like soooo much FUN!!!....im gonna look into it...what is it...for charity or?

  • 1:10 I love.<3

  • What song is this???

  • cool video, loving the song really suits it. I would love to do this, sadly have no pony to do it on... lol :-) would love to do it though

  • Comment removed

  • well actually there is no such thing as 17.4 when it comes to measuring horses.

  • yeahh i thought there was? because the tallest horse in history was 22hh!!!!! LOVING THE VID!! see this is why i would like a pony of my own :'( <3

  • no there isn't

    17.4 is 18.1... the measurements go up to 16.1, 16.2, 16.3, then 17.1...

  • Actually it goes 16.1hh, 16.2hh, 16.3hh then 17hh, not straight to 17.1hh

  • oops i forgot that one.. lol

  • @HazardousAmusement No they don't. The go 16.1, 16.2, 16.3, 17, 17.1. Because that means 16 hands and 1 inch, 16 hands and 2 inches, 16 hands and 3 inches, 17 hands, 17 hands and 1 inch.

  • I wish that me and my cob could do that..so much fun =D

  • me 2 ! if i could afford one i realy want to do something like this :'(

  • Fun! I want to play!

  • ME TOO!!

  • i ssoooo wish i could do that!! iits not fair im never gonna get anywere with ridin cos im not rich and dont own a horse :'(

  • lol... You dont have to be rich to own a horse.. I am not.. and I have 2 mares.. I used to have 5 though.. 3 geldings and 2 mares

  • yh i know but u still have to have enough money to look after one and i havent even got that lol u have no idea how lucky u r, all i can afford is just about 1 or 2 lessons/hacks a month

  • Oh trust me on that one, I do know how lucky I am... And you are lucky yourself because there is tons of people who dont even get to go for hacks/lessons

  • yh i guess your right : ) i would still KILL for a horse though lol ;)

  • im in riddles creek riding club , only people under 16 have to wear helmets not really any wear helmets 16+ so its weird i havint watched the vid in awile but i think like everyone was wearing a helmet

  • back in england, most rider use hats its protection thing otherwise your more likely to have bad injuries or die if you fall off, people do wear helmets in austrailia, but i dont live there! do you not? x

  • what is the address of Newmarket? Is it in ENGLAND, CANADA, thank you in advance

  • newmarket is in england

  • Such a pleasant video, thank you very mcuh...

  • can anyone explain the gallop term plz?is it to do something with the sprint of the horse or with the racecourse?many thnx

  • A gallop is the fastest gait of the horse. It has four "beats" as opposed to, say, the trot, which is 2 beat, or canter, which is 3 beat. It goes 1 hindleg, other hindleg, front leg on the same side as the 1st hind, front leg on the same side as the 2nd hindleg. Then a period of suspension (no legs on the ground). So, if you're going to the right, it would be LH, RH,LF, RF, suspension. Each foot hitting the ground is a "beat".

  • to put it in much simpler terms ...

all horses can gallop, horse racing is a measure of how fast they can gallop

galloping is like fast cantering, with an extra beat :)

  • aww i love the ending lol

i wanna do thiss it looks fun.

  • ha ha that looks great fun!

  • oooooooooooooooo O.o

that lokks like SO much fun!!!!

you got some fab pictures too

  • Looks fun

  • ii'd love to take my new-iish horse there :L ii fully galloped hiim on a small fiield and he wouldn't stop, triied jumpiin the gate at the end of the fiield :S he's fast ii'll tell yhoo :L but gets well to pysyched up after a canter :L
