@1313lakers Oh please don't do that friend. Those cheap ones are unreliable, and break and bend too easily. I would recommend a military grade one or a boat anchor type one. You need something strong that can support at least 300 lbs. In the first video of this series I explain where to get a nice one and what it should look like. Please be careful.
hay, i think these video's are great, i have my own grappling hook and im going to take in all your teaching tips and learn from your mistakes so i don't make then.. you hasve inspired me to do something diffrent, i wish to do technical tree climbing now, i needed something more active to do and i think this is my calling, 5 stars on ALL four video's dude, it would be great if you continued well done and rock on, Do you know a good online world wide shipper that sells equipment at a good price?
Nice series of grappling hook videos Mike. I really think you did a great job. I know I've learned something. I like watching you, even if you fall out of trees. Thanks again for sharing.
really you think so, some people would disagree and say who am I to teach since I am not a high level master. But I am young and really wished I had some one like this teaching things when I was younger. Mastery will come with time and age.
I wish I had a nice decently sized (or at least have no civilization in site) forest around my area... There's one at the park, but I wish I had one with grass... This one just has ivy and twig things all over the ground. W'ever... You're a savior Mike. You're amazing in the Ninja Arts. I'd like to see more of this from you!
wow, I would dry up and die in the city if I was there too long. I thrive in nature. Thanks for watching and your support and there is defiantly more on the way so stay tuned friend.
I'm going to buy a 30 dollar grappling hook from a MA website should I buy it from there or were ?

Nice 4 parter .Good safety coments.I like the way you use a chain on your hook.
brutus0199 2 years ago
Thanks, that chain prevents fraying of the rope on that end.
