My first solo in a Robinson R44 Helicopter

I have taken my introductory lesson and I was so surprised when they let go of the controls. I got used to the cyclic and collective, just them anti-torque pedals! I'll be going for a PPL. I really like your video, you have some natural skill there!

Did you do all your training in a R44 and this is your first solo? or did your training in a R22 and this is your first solo on a R44 .

I'm wondering cause am about to start taking lessons but i'm not sure if to spend the extra bucks for the R44.

I took all of my lessons in the R44. Never flown in a R22. Could've saved about $20,000 if i would have trained in the R22 though.

I just got my solo in on June 2nd in a Piper Archer and would REALLY love to be training in a Robinson if it weren't for that money factor haha
