Also, when the panel told Jodi that her body and feet weren't right for ballet, Maureen made Jodi feel bad by agreeing. She told her, in front of Eva, that 'she was a smart girl, and she should just apply to colleges', meaning she should just give up ballet altogether. I hope that makes sense ...
