I saw Alice play the Ashgrove either 71 or'72.Will Scarlett,the harp player from Hot Tuna took me there and I believe Big Mama Thorton played the same night. We went back -stage and he introduced me to her. I was in awe. she had the first strat with mini toggle switchs. I'm so happy to see her still playin'. I still do but there's nobody to carry my amp! Wah! It's just the meatjacket that gets old...
