  • @HopeRanchFBS CONCORDE WAS DESIGNED BY THE "BRISTOL AEROPLANE COMPANY" THAT IS NOW ''BAE -SYSTEMS. AS THE COST WAS TO HIGH, U.K GOVERNMENT LOOKED FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION TO SHARE THE COST. ONLY FRANCE SHOWED INTEREST . AIR FRANCE IS ONLY THE PRIMARY USER IN USING CONCORDE APART FROM "BRITISH AIRWAYS".

THE TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN IS OF" BAE-SYSTEMS".

SO, BRITISH AIRWAYS = THE ART OF FLYING.

U CAN REFER TO WIKIPEDIA FOR THE PROOF.

  • @SHUKLAPATELA Oh I see you are trolling other people as well as me. I'll be blocking you from further posts.

  • THE ONLY AIRWAYS IN THE WORLD THAT CROSSED THE SOUND BARRIER,

    BRITISH AIRWAYS CONCORDE.

BRITISH AIRWAYS = ART OF FLYING.

  • Luv when it takes of and luv the clouds look soooo beautiful very good vid

  • Very nice vid! Just sub'd. Please do the same. THANKS!

  • Cool vid!! Got some great shots there!!

  • Good Video !!

  • love hw u got the flight recorded when your just above the clouds. Would be good if you got landings and takeoff to and from above cloud :)

  • LHR needs 2 additional runways.

  • Wow, did you see how long that 747 been running along the runway? That's one heavy jumbo! =)

  • Just because an aircraft has a long takeoff roll doesn't make it 'heavy'. 99.99% of flights derate (not full powered) takeoffs in order to maximize life.

  • Tanks are probably nearly full increasing take-off weight. Hate to ask what V1 would be.

  • You see there were alot of planes queing up for take off...time limit should be 2 mins between two planes but 2 mins is too much for Heathrow, so planes should be handled quick and careful!

  • heh, there's a small crosswind on that takeoff. :]

  • this was me on monday leaving my beloved green England for the brown desert once more...i miss home like mad. I've been here in Phoenix for 12 years now..747 take me home again soon.

  • move back then . lol

  • youtube

  • what song is this

  • Just scroll through the comments. It's Lenny Kravitz - If you can't say no.

  • I lived in Mesa for 3 years & loved watching this sucker land. anywhere from 3 to 5 it would come in. My metro's only direct link to Europe..

  • im makin this journey on sunday

  • Great video, you choosed a nice song...

another day at heathrow, the best place on earth to catch this beautiful birds.

Nice work, hope u enjoyed your flight.

  • i always go on ba,

hey wat date was that flight actualy recorded...

i mite have been on it

  • It was on 24th of March 2006.

  • doesn't look like a very good take-off... or was it?

  • What's wrong with it then? Looks fine tome.

  • nothing, it just looked to me like a really fast and jiggly plane, that's all.

  • Heavy payload, long flight. Always special that 747!

  • who sings this song?

  • It's Lenny Kravitz - If you can't say no.

  • can you remember the name of the pilot?

  • beautiful airline british airways

  • I agree with you, but don't let too many people hear you say that! ;)

  • excellent video=)u choosed a great music.

    I love heathrow:D

  • they used a lot of runway on takeoff

  • Very nice video mate, loved it when you get through the cloud base into nice sunshine, very enjoyable thanks !!!

  • niceeeee

  • Doe je nu de studie?

  • This is a fantanstic Video probably the best I've seen on here. Everything about it is spot on. Liked the way you faded the music out for the sound of the engines powering up, Superb song too. Keep up the great work.

  • Thanks very much, glad you liked it!

  • nicee

  • I only got photos of my take off 12 years ago from heathrow,,,now i found this video and it s exactly what i experience !!!!!! ...thanks Dutchbird 757 very greatful to you

  • You are welcome!

  • I flew this route years ago when i went to Phoenix when i was 19.

  • Excellent Job!!! I just love that United Triple 7 - Probably bound our way to SoCal (LAX) - Keep up the good work and FLY HIGH!!! Joe G

  • nice vid.. good job!

  • amazing...27L departure...do LHR use 27r for landing??

  • Yeah, the exception at the mo is 09L - that is not in use for take-offs, I think that might change once T5 works are complete. The rest are used for take-off and landing.

  • ohh i wanna be a pilottt

  • init it look sso cool but my dad wants me to be BLOODY ACCOUNTANT!!!

  • nevamind bro

  • It doesn't matter, you should take that descision of what you want to be.

  • this is captain hakanemre speakin :)

  • since when were 'winglets' ugly - cock

  • how big is gatwick compared to heathrow???

  • Heathrow has more than 60'000'000 passengers a year.

    Gatwick about 35'000'000.

  • i thought gatwick had 30 000 000 and heathrow had 75 000 000

  • Gatwick is small compared to Heathrow.

    And i mean small.

Ive flown from both airports to the States.

Heathrow is like the 2nd biggest airport in the world so ive heard.

  • Yea but its got the most amount of international flights! making it the biggest operator of international flights in the world! n with there new terminal being built nothign will compare! n gatwick is the second biggest airport in the uk! i think its a pretty decent airport i like it better then heathrow! Gatwick has character!

  • In few years time Heathrow will be the biggest airport in the world.

Thats what they are heading for i think.

    Its not far of it.

  • Heathrow needs a third runway to expand their flights. The airport currently operates at about 97% of flight capacity. If other European airports (ie. Paris CDG & Frankfurt)operated at these levels, their passenger numbers would excede Heathrow.

ATL (atlanta--main delta hub) and ORD (chicago--united and american hub) are larger than Heathrow, but Heathrow has more international passenegers.

How likely will plans for a third runway be approved?

  • If the plan goes through then it wont happen until 2020.

    Thats what i read somewhere.

  • The government backs the expansion of heathrow, terminal 6 and a new runway - with the demolishment of homes. their argument is that if they dont expand at heathrow, elsewhere will expand and craete the same amount of pollution - which is so bladdy true lol - STOP COMPLAING YOU LOT lol

  • At times I am in disbelief about the 747s. It is a relatively large aircraft, yet it can travel at 910 kilometers per hour, cruise at an altitude of 40,000 and it carries hundreds of passengers.

  • I've been to London and going to Phoenix friday. Lucky you 10 hrs unbelievable mine is only 4

  • since when did they start putting big old ugly winglets on the 757?

  • What's so ugly about winglets? The winglets are used on the 747=400 to increase fuel efficiency and help provide longer range.

Want to fly on a Boeing plane that doesn't have winglets..there's the 777!

  • excellent video im a flight attendant , with qantas good work . i fly melbourne to la . usa a very long flight . cheers from australia.

  • hi there....i absolutely love this video...def one 4 the favourites!! could you possibly tell me the name of that awesome song throughout the vid please? thanks :D

  • i could be anal and point out that in our safety briefing on BA and in boarding announcements all electronic equipment should be switched off for take off this includes video cameras... but then again we wouldn't get great videos like this

  • Hi, when they mean 'electronic equipment' they mean cell phones and radios..because those can interfere with the airplane's communication and navigation systems. Camcorders and digital cameras are allowed because they do not cause interference.

  • ur absoulutly right. does tht mean i can film through out the flight?

  • Yeah only stuff that sends out EM signals produces any interference above negligible levels.

  • i was in phoenix on december 2006 and BA's 747 was boarding and i looked for it but i didn't find it... too bad. beautiful airplane.

  • Air Canada!!!! Yahh!!!

  • awesome vid travelled twice this year on the 747 from heathrow to phoenix....long flight though

  • Awesome video!

  • lol music from schipol airport tv show

  • Great Video, I love 747s! They are just beautiful. Love the engine sound as well. Well Done :D

  • My fave plane is the Airbus A380 right now. Was the Concorde though, but it's been too long since it crashed...

  • I am the complete opposite :P I love the 747s and therfore don't really like the A380. Airbus has some lovely aircrafts though - and the Concorde was amazing. I will always be faithful to the 747 - hope to fly them one day.....

  • lol i hope they put Concorde back. then my dream will be to fly the 747, A380, and Concorde =D

  • Me too! As much as I don't like the A380, I wouldn't mind being at the controls :) Big dream to fly the 747-800 though - that wouldbe super! That and a flight in the concorde, wish they still flew!!

  • some one with the same faves as me =D

  • Nice to hear that as well :D

  • this plane fly's a route over my house in phoenix every other day in the evening. i saw my house on that vid.

  • what's the name of the track? Singer? Song? it's pretty tight..matches the vid..love it

  • @ Gokumalo. The track that I used was from Lenny Kravitz and called; If You Can't Say No. I've matched the video to the track. Thanks for your comment. Glad you liked it!

  • wow what wonderful shity british weather... o wait shity is normal

  • katara120 wow what stupid lame-ass comments you produce, your scared to tell me where you are from

  • im from clacton on sea in essex in the uk

  • I adore Boeing 747's, they are by far the best airline around! Queen Of The Skies!!

  • Very nice video ...... it remind me of flying with BA on the 747 to JFK .... very nice indeed. I like the music and would like to know the interprete and the title ... thx u very much.

  • Sluggish takeoff, but it is a B747. Nevertheless a great climb out. It must have been quite windy cos i think i can see the aielirons moving whilst she was taking off. Either the wind was blowing it or the pilot had to counterbalance the wind by using the aielirons and not the rudder.

  • Yeah that was an exceptionally sluggish takeoff! But then again im used to the 737-400

  • sweet!!!

  • great vid. Very heavy takeoff

  • Very good video very impressed well done!!

  • Gread video, reminded me of home:-) I also used to work as cabin crew out of LHR so it took me back, love the footage as the aircraft appears through the clouds. Thank you.

  • aircraft type?

  • i think it's a 747-400

  • 747! smooth..

  • very nice...love LHR take off's!.

  • whats the differance compared to other take offs?

  • cos i know the airport because i work there, & it's so good to see it on screen!.

  • Personally, i prefer stansted, but evryones differant i spose

  • Ive been on this flight!!!
