he had no choice but to try and do an all in play with mutas since he was way behind after that initial harass in the beginning and lost a ton of workers blocking it. it was pretty much gg after that.

Huh? This is a pretty standard TvZ, neither side played out of book. SPOILER: The Zerg simply couldn't hold his third base with pure mutas, Terran took advantage and ended it.

it wasnt really standard play because he took only gas from his third to maintain the muta pump and he didnt transition to lurkers or other tech

he didnt develop his third or get evos for upgrades...he wanted to go balls to the walls with mutas alone which some players like Lux/yellow succeed it

I was under the impression that you were talking about the "winner" as you said. It's true that Zerg didn't defend his third, but that was a good move by the Terran to split and hit the expo, the mutas couldn't cover both.
