wow yeah good call on the tent, you guys are crazy for cooking in your tent. In the outdoors you have to go without food often. Cooking in our tent is like rubbing honey on your naked body and hugging a bear. Also if you guys accidentally torched your tent you would be screwed. WHat did you guys do before this?
@petrfiddle how long did it take because as a Canadian as far as i know it was done last 1st in 1995 in one season but that was Newfoundland to Vancouver
im doing this trip on summer 2009 i want to know more about you and your trip cause i dont exactly know witch way i have to take and i want you to help me out
Hey This is Drew (the taller one in the video) This is the only youtube video I've ever put up and I've since lost my account info. Anyhow I'm posting a much higher res version on vimeo. If you want to see that look for "Brothers Marshall Trans-Canadian Canoe Trip" you can also email me at "drew at psilodesign period commercial".
Do you guys come back to check on your videos and comments or not even? Anyways, hoping to solo paddle along Lake Winnipeg (not through it), and wondered if you had any general tips. "Words of wisdom" as they call it..
you guys are great that is truly a massive feat especially in a canoe it seems like nowadays canoes are no longer used. is there a place where we can learn more about you?
EXCELENT VIDEOS. I can't believe you only have 2K views on part 4, while my mother playing taboo has 18k in less than a year. That just goes to show that it sure doesn't have anything to do with quality. I watch your videos periodically whenever I need inspiration, Thanks!
Awsome adventure.......BUT....did you guys have any life jackets at all on the trip, or were they just seat cushions. I understand it was mainly flatwater, but I am a strong supporter of safety first.
fantastic vids but please please please give us a play list, there some tracks there that remind me of god speed you black emperor, one track sounds a bit like Fela Kuti but i really want to know what that old tarck is around 8 mins in, the one where you start talking all over
very nice job fellas. i could watch hours of this.being disabled,i dont get out much, and when i do,,i cant do trips like this one. congrats and thanx for sharing.roystr

one of my friends - canoed across canada from Vancouver to Quebec in the 70s
they were sponsored by some hot dog company so got free hot dogs along the way and their canoe was painted like a hot dog too.
good for you guys., sounds like a great trip.

Hilarious. I guess I have to spell it out. A map of the route taken by these two guys. Yes, on this trip. In the canoe. On water.

The songs are from just about all of their albums, I reccomend "The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place", it's an incredible CD.
Enjoy!
