  • BUENISIMO!!!

Me dijeron: "Con razón!"

  • @panatele No beaner talk please, this is youtube.

  • Just listen to the funky beats!

  • I watched this show every day as a kid. I am now a 48 year old man. I still remember the song. It's funny, I live near the company that builds the buggy racers. These buggy racers are early Argos.

  • I am 46 years old and haven't seen an episode of this show in probably 35 years - yet I know EVERY WORD of the opening song.

  • OMG!!!!!!!! thank you sooo freakin much for turning me into a 5 year old again. lmfao.....i dont believe it..i cant stop laughing.

  • In my best Barney Fife voice, "They were nuts !"

I wanted to pull on Fleagels tongue so bad, and just get one 'howdy' out of snorkle, but noooo, he kept his trunk shut.

  • I tried once to explain this show to a friend of mine who'd never seen it...Didn't go so well I think he probably still thinks I'm on drugs. thankfully I found this so i can finally show him.

  • The late 60's and early 70's seems like such fun.

  • @PimpThe478 Yeah, until you get drafted to fight in Nam.

  • @PimpThe478 yeahj, they wrer. ahhhhh, I'm glad i was born in 68. :)

  • The TV was on Teletoon Retro for background noise but this clip caught my attention, from 2:15 to 4:38

I never heard of this show before, so I had to google this clip. I bet those guys were so wasted while filming that scene... lol

  • Trippy Tripout Tripstering Triptastic. Who went Tra La La La at the beginning?!

  • @JohannaGotTalent41

For the first season, some of the live-action segments (specifically those used during the musical segments) were shot at Six Flags Over Texas, an amusement park located in Arlington, Texas. For the second season, filming took place at the Coney Island amusement park, located in eastern Cincinnati, Ohio.

  • This was my Favorite TV show!! brings back memories...

  • LSD had some educational utility after all.

What it was is still a mystery, however.

  • A real blast from the past. Used to rush home from school friday to be sure I saw the banana splits show. Loved Drooper's battles with the trash can and they still have me roflmao! Thanks for posting

  • gotta love the 60's

  • so meny drugs, just so meny drugs

  • Ok is it Just me Lmao this is kind of trippy like the people who made this show did acid

  • I always wanted to know what amusement park they were at

  • @JohannaGotTalent41

I believe it was filmed at the old Coney Island amusement park in Cincinnati. Not to be confused with the nearby Kings Island in Mason, Ohio or Coney Island in New York of course.

  • Man this takes me back!

  • I LOVE THE SPLITS!

  • I want a banana buggy!!

  • The countless bands who've modeled their behavior on this original Furry 4 is greatly under appreciated.

  • I always thought that the Banana was based on the Monkees. Hanna Barbara frequently based their shows on another reference (Flinstones based Jackie Gleason's Honeymooners).

Bingo looks much like Mickey Dolenz

  • holy cow!!! a life time ago that I saw this one!

  • i was young when i seen this ,but STILL REMEMBER!!!!

  • was there a old and and now new show. can anyone tell me.

  • According to the always-reliable wikipedia, there was a 2008 Banana Splits show.

I seem to remember an animated Banana Splits show, that followed the "live action" one. I can't find any evidence that this isn't a figment of my imagination.

  • That may have been the 1972 spin-off "THE BANANA SPLITS IN HOCUS POCUS PARK", that was mostly animated, with some "live action" Splits footage.

  • lovin on those Splits!!

  • This show scared me when i was like 2 but then it was ok the monkey was kinda freaky

  • Brilliant! Thanks for posting, brings back great childhood memories!

  • Do you have any more of these to upload.
