sony a300k is way better, its a step up from amuature dslrs like nikon d40 etc. its more of a experianced photography camera.

Totaly agree just got the sony a300. it is realy good and i have taken some fantastic pictures!! The 300 can take 3 fps were the 350 has 2.5 fps! get the 300!!!

The Alpha 300 is a fantastic camera. The fold out screen is very useful and image quality is second to none. 14mp is no needed!!! In the UK it's only available through Jessops and they were very helpful.

I got the 350, but why is the 300 only available at jessops?

Lots of features, but what about maintenance? In particular where is the 'main' backup memory battery held and how accessible is it?

Will it be necessary to send the body to an authorised Sony service/repair agent at 'cost' to get it replaced in three or so years time?

Thats why i bought a A300.

Normal Holiday Picture maker falling into the Pixel Mad (sorry about ma bad English ;o) ).
