  • T.D.V Total Ledge

    End of !

    T.D.R.

  • Got a copy of this on vinyl if anyone is looking to buy?

  • blooby hell, what a chooon,,,uk hard house still the best

  • Amazing wot a LEGEND oh the memories!!!!!!

  • @helenback13: Exactly. Back in the day all of us called it Techno. Only later it "had to be labeled"... Unfortunately kids now-a-days think they know what they're talking about when they address the generation who created this music and think they can educate Us. So sad. :)

  • pioneer!

  • Reminds me of my mate A.L.F.'s double time 1210's. Thats how all tunes should be played. Top Bombing!!!

  • freaking awesome! had this track on a promo tape from frantic. spencer freeland i believe, excellent!

  • R.I.P Tony De Vit. A master at the Decks - I remember this in its early days of 1991!!!

  • each to there own but i dont like it myself

  • i would love to have a copy. does anybody know where can i download??

  • well said helenback13............well said x

  • one of the worst remixes i've ever heard!

  • @corelgott shut it muppet, if ya dont like it then dont fuckin listen, do us all a favour and fuck off back to clubland like a good little muppet

  • The guy you want is SImon Horrocks. My best mate Simon Eve was number two over there, but he's moved on to Judge Jules' Integrity Artist Management company now. i haven;t seen James since Notting Hill Carnival two years ago.

I'd imagine it is a cost/time issue. It is hugely time consuming to do that kind of thing, and very expensive, and since the priates destroyed our industry, people have had to follow other revenue streams. And all the people have been doing it for 25 years or more now...:-(

  • @slightlytwistedtwo You'd be very lucky to get a DAT of this nowadays. Vinyl does colour the sound, but that's the way it is, and I quite like that :P good luck

  • @stuartz1985 Not after the DAT. Just after the finalised digital version.

  • Mate, i know the guys who owned React. And somebody who worked there. We had a DAT of it... and had acetates of it. And then it finally came out on a white label - about two years later. My friend Simon Eve had it on a mix tape (yes, tape) and we were in the Isle Of Wight in a club, and some guy played it off an acetate that you could tell had been recorded off Simon's tape.

It was, and is, a special remix.

  • @blanco1977 If you still speak to them. Tell them to get their asses into gear and set up a back catalogue of all their releases, including their short lived Reactivate label (there's an Age of Love remix on there as well).

  • true

    TDV truely a genius

  • Got a white label of this...Banging TOON

  • Imagine what TDV could be doing with modern production technology. It'd be banging for sure : )

  • The Faster the better, this is an awesome mix of a classic, theres no contest when it comes to TDV, absolute legend, gone, but never forgotten.

  • @corelgott - nob!

  • @corelgott stupid idiot

  • @OriginalPod lol

  • when i hear de vit it brings back so many great memories of so many great nights, he`ll always be a legend!!!!

  • 2 fast for my liking..wud ave liked it when i was around 13..slow it down nd ye have a gud remix

  • Tony is long gone mate, so you may have a long wait.

  • Why is the track pitched up so far?

  • Because I play at around 155BPM to 165BPM. It's the way I like it and play sets around those speeds. And anyway, the original tempo is quite rapid compared to other hardhouse tunes. I recorded this around +3 on my Technics. Not only that have you ever heard this played in a club/festival? You will find that DJ's like Andy Farley, Karim, Pants & Corset have played this around this speed. You should know this.

  • very good remix, it's Hardcore, so this song already was remixed in a lot different

    musical subgenres of EDM:

    Trance

    House

    Hard House

    Tribal House

    Hardcore (this one)

    and Hard Trance.

  • except this isnt hardcore.. LOL

This is hard house at its best m8!

  • ok, sorry.

  • This isn't hardcore. This is UK hard house, the only reason it sounds like hardcore is because the person who put up this vid foolishly pitched the track way, up.

  • Never heard this mix of such a classic tune....RIP my friend...

  • miss you tony

    Liam x subs xxx

  • Mark eg - m-zone used to play this at hleter skelter n hardcore heaven. The billy bunter & mc storm tape always makes me rush, when storm stops emcceing 'ya got take alook around, all the people jumpin up n down, hardcore is the sound' etc :P

  • birmingham not the same anymore , tin tins then london with tony and owner of trade , never a better weekend ..miss ya mate , from curt and karl

  • So many great mixes, have just listened to the mix he did of Rufus Doors' "Too Much Too Late" that was never released. Fantastic.... He is a great loss to the music scene but will be remembered

    forever. Good times..

  • how did tony de vit die?????

  • aids

  • hiv positive guy loved djing, making music and sex, who gives a shit it was with men thats a good life KING

  • This is awesome!

  • ive got this on record... theres a nice mix by tony on the flipside of vamp aswell.... quality.

  • knall bra!!!! ^_^

  • best remix of this song I've ever heard, you rock bro. check out megatron liquid

  • killed it!!

  • Wicked tune!!! Karim still drops this on occasion.

  • sick remix! awesome

  • What a tune! reminds me of crystal rooms on a friday. Naughty but nice brings back good memories!!!!

  • Aiyeah this track is so damn nice!!

First time i heard it was in a radio show called "The Euro Dance Show" with Dj Adam Moore on "astra 50" (some sattelite radio..

And it took me quite some time to find it as download ;) and yeah.. it is rare!

  • I love this song.. but this guy butchered a classic

  • hiya m8 this tune is mint never every of him but this is mint and his only ones aswell but i cant download it m8 but can u give it to me m8

  • It's hardly rare if it's on youtube???!!!!

  • Well duh! Obviously not now, but back when Tony remixed it, it was rare. The remix is at least 11-12 years old (TdV died in 98)

  • Glad you said that. This is rare anyway as ya can't download the full unmixed promo. Consider the fact I got this about 2002 and took a year for me to go round record stores and leave order's with them to get in contact with me if a pre owned copy comes in. If any one finds a downloadable version of this, let me know as the vinyl quality of this is worn down to hell with the use it's had.

  • @slightlytwistedtwo Get in touch with Hard To Find Records. You can create a profile on their website and add the track to your wish list.

  • @stuartz1985 LOL this came from HTFR. (I'm slightlytwistedtwo by the way. I've forgotten my password for this account). I'm after a digital version from the original DAT. The thing is with vinyl that is colours the sound of the record. Also vinyl lose quality over time and is susceptible to warping (which this record is towards the end) Digital is lossless which is why i'm after it.

  • A-ha, I remember dancing to this one during Trade and FISH! back in 1997. Also if you know Karim's sets long enough you'd know this one was one of his favouerites FOR A VERY LONG TIME;-)

    Long live TdV.

    xsx

    BRING THAT BEAT BACK!!!

  • its a rare record, the mona lisa's unique but u can look at it on the internet.

  • Now this is a Fucking Track and a Half!!!! Keep it Hard!!!!

  • Oh yes!!!! I cant decide though - this mix or the Cosmic Gate remix??? Which is better?

  • for me, it's Cosmic Gate, but this one is awesome, too.

  • chap was a legend , have an old recording of him on tape from 2fm (dublin)

he was a gentleman who was aware of a good dance music, unlike todays crap!

age of love is a joy to lisen to again

r,i,p tony see you there bro!

  • Sweet haven't heard this some in quite sometime

    Cheers for posting it

    The Master Gee®©

    The Master Gee

  • The best DJ and remixer in the whole world and still today. Was lucky enough to see him dj many times and made my late teenage years the best.rip in dj heaven mate!!

  • Saw TDV many times at the crystal rooms in hereford where he was resident, he is sorely missed, he will always hold a special place in my heart for his sets where the energy was literally dripping off the walls!! Todays hard dance scene simply would'nt be the same without his input. RIP and god bless thank you TDV

  • amazin remix from the hard house legend, this is got to be one of his best mixes he's ever done, the original mix of this is one of my favourite trance tunes of all time, cheers for postin this m8 this is the first time i've heard this in full:)

  • babe your pitch is out but love this tune!

  • I up'ed the pitch when I recorded it as I do like my hard dance fast. Glad ya loved it.
