@helenback13: Exactly. Back in the day all of us called it Techno. Only later it "had to be labeled"... Unfortunately kids now-a-days think they know what they're talking about when they address the generation who created this music and think they can educate Us. So sad. :)
The guy you want is SImon Horrocks. My best mate Simon Eve was number two over there, but he's moved on to Judge Jules' Integrity Artist Management company now. i haven;t seen James since Notting Hill Carnival two years ago.
I'd imagine it is a cost/time issue. It is hugely time consuming to do that kind of thing, and very expensive, and since the priates destroyed our industry, people have had to follow other revenue streams. And all the people have been doing it for 25 years or more now...:-(
@slightlytwistedtwo You'd be very lucky to get a DAT of this nowadays. Vinyl does colour the sound, but that's the way it is, and I quite like that :P good luck
Mate, i know the guys who owned React. And somebody who worked there. We had a DAT of it... and had acetates of it. And then it finally came out on a white label - about two years later. My friend Simon Eve had it on a mix tape (yes, tape) and we were in the Isle Of Wight in a club, and some guy played it off an acetate that you could tell had been recorded off Simon's tape.
@blanco1977 If you still speak to them. Tell them to get their asses into gear and set up a back catalogue of all their releases, including their short lived Reactivate label (there's an Age of Love remix on there as well).

Because I play at around 155BPM to 165BPM. It's the way I like it and play sets around those speeds. And anyway, the original tempo is quite rapid compared to other hardhouse tunes. I recorded this around +3 on my Technics. Not only that have you ever heard this played in a club/festival? You will find that DJ's like Andy Farley, Karim, Pants & Corset have played this around this speed. You should know this.
This isn't hardcore. This is UK hard house, the only reason it sounds like hardcore is because the person who put up this vid foolishly pitched the track way, up.
Mark eg - m-zone used to play this at hleter skelter n hardcore heaven. The billy bunter & mc storm tape always makes me rush, when storm stops emcceing 'ya got take alook around, all the people jumpin up n down, hardcore is the sound' etc :P
So many great mixes, have just listened to the mix he did of Rufus Doors' "Too Much Too Late" that was never released. Fantastic.... He is a great loss to the music scene but will be remembered
Glad you said that. This is rare anyway as ya can't download the full unmixed promo. Consider the fact I got this about 2002 and took a year for me to go round record stores and leave order's with them to get in contact with me if a pre owned copy comes in. If any one finds a downloadable version of this, let me know as the vinyl quality of this is worn down to hell with the use it's had.
@stuartz1985 LOL this came from HTFR. (I'm slightlytwistedtwo by the way. I've forgotten my password for this account). I'm after a digital version from the original DAT. The thing is with vinyl that is colours the sound of the record. Also vinyl lose quality over time and is susceptible to warping (which this record is towards the end) Digital is lossless which is why i'm after it.
A-ha, I remember dancing to this one during Trade and FISH! back in 1997. Also if you know Karim's sets long enough you'd know this one was one of his favouerites FOR A VERY LONG TIME;-)
The best DJ and remixer in the whole world and still today. Was lucky enough to see him dj many times and made my late teenage years the best.rip in dj heaven mate!!
Saw TDV many times at the crystal rooms in hereford where he was resident, he is sorely missed, he will always hold a special place in my heart for his sets where the energy was literally dripping off the walls!! Todays hard dance scene simply would'nt be the same without his input. RIP and god bless thank you TDV
amazin remix from the hard house legend, this is got to be one of his best mixes he's ever done, the original mix of this is one of my favourite trance tunes of all time, cheers for postin this m8 this is the first time i've heard this in full:)

very good remix, it's Hardcore, so this song already was remixed in a lot different
musical subgenres of EDM:
Trance
House
Hard House
Tribal House
Hardcore (this one)
and Hard Trance.
