I found the mysterious violinist !!! Marta Abraham. She recorded this beatiful piece in Belgium.Check her website you can find this recording as well.
In an attempt to identify this mystery violinist, I have looked up this piece in the UK Gramophone Classical catalogue, which, as I understand it, includes all issued recordings. It lists only two recordings of this piece, both by Ricci, at widely spaced recording dates. Perhaps, this is the Ricci recording you do not have, which might account for the differences?
Maybe it's a ricci young recording. Here in Spain there are other Maestro who recording this piece. I Remember Angel Jesus Garcia who recorded the complete works of Sarasate. We will re-listen the piece in order to detect if it is a Ricci work. Thanks!
Yes, you're right. I've just Googled Garcia. I take it RTVE? is a Spanish Radio label? (1994) It does not look as if this record was issued in the UK. I have to say there is something about this recording that makes me think it is Ricci, but if you find out for certain, please let me know.
Yes it is de Radio Television Española (Spanish Radio TV). I re-listen the recording and there are a lot of elements near to Ricci. Before you said there are two recordings of Ricci I'm agree with you that this is a Ricci recording.
I'm glad we've solved the mystery. I'll get the dates of Ricci's recordings when I go to the library again. I didn't think of making a note of them on Saturday.
I think it isnt ricci, ricci is a little bit less pure in his tone and also a little bit out of tune if you know what I mean and also the quality of the recording is a little bit old so, but who ever he is it is a fantanstyc violinst very little violinst have teh corage to play this piece

@manifold0606 It is not Ricci at all. Ricci plays always on the fingerboard which does not give a bright tone on the lower strings. That with his irregular vibrato, more tremulant than the real thing, are two recognizable characteristics of Ricci's sound...
I am pretty sure he is ricci, though I don't have this recording. I am a super fan of him and have listened to many many his recordings. His sound changed a lot from his young ages to old ages. The sound in this recording is exactly the same as his young recordings of Sarasate. He played on the fingerboard only when he got old.

I am a super fan of Ricci. I am pretty sure it's Ricci's young tone. His young recordings have very pure sound and perfect intonation.

I have a CD with Ricci and Asiaín interpreting Sarasate... Sublime! Fortunately Eduardo Asiaín have his own channel in youtube: eduardohasiain
Check it out if you like Sarasate (look for the "Zapateado").
