That's a damn lie. I was just listening to it. The cover doesn't convey any of the pathos or desperation that the oiriginal has. This version is a man clawing at the sense of loss and bitter frustration, hoping someone can aid it. the other is banal new wave crap.

The cover may be the worst thing I have ever heard. If I had the choice of going deaf, or hearing that cover again, I would choose the former. It sounds like somebody took the original, sped it up, and had some whiny emo loser sing it.
