  • This is easily the most awesome kart restoration i have seen. That thing is beautiful.

  • While the video seemed long, it was NICE to see all the parts and assembly from the rolling views for a change. Great job with the steady camera motion. Nice looking kart!

When I was racing, my 1963 Dart Kart Grand Prix had a SN metal tag riveted on number panel.

  • Looks like its ready to go

  • That is a beautiful restoration. I wouldn't change a thing on it....except mabe it ownership ! LOL

  • get rid of the frount disc brakes there dangerous add another brake to the rear up date to a newer seat, get rid of the alumunum thing on the stearing collum so you can roll off that thing fast if needed plus them things have cause cut legs on a roll over,

  • @david1513

I think you are missing the point here, this is a restored old School dual engine Kart.

  • Nice restoration! Show us some footage of it running! Late '60's and all through the 1970's, Margay made some of the most beautiful and innovative karts. Too bad they seem to be knocking off European designs now.

  • i just bought a margay kart, its old but cant seem to find the year or serial number on it!

  • @ronaldbrashears American karts never had serial numbers (that I'm aware of)...only European karts that are homogenated for CIK / FIA international events, and even then, I don't think that began until the turn of the century. If you can get me a picture, I can tell you most of the models from 1970-current (within 5 years of manufacture).

  • All I have to say is wow
