A vehicle should have two (main canon, coax machinegun), or maximum three (main canon, coax machinegun, ATGM) weapons, otherwise the gunner is overwhelm and can't do his job properly and the weapon systems will interfere with each other. This vehicle is just littered with guns.

It carries no infantry, no infantry support weapons, and has limited AD capability. BMD-4 can engage tanks with Arkan so Sprut only has a place to take on frontline Western MBTs. It has its place, but BMD-4 is far more useful.
@flerrel Of course such jammers are not effective against all types of AT mines and IEDs. But they partly solve this problem since they can fool or pre-detonate specific types of mines and IEDs. And such equipment is offered with BMP-3, BMD-4 and is installed on T-90. Do Western AFVs have electromagnetic jammers? Or they have to run over and see if they can sustain a damage?
