thats like saying turning around corners at a high speed wont warm up the tires... also in addition to gaining heat in the tires, that side to side motion cleans debris off the tire surface, which is important to getting a good start when you crack the throttle.and in addition to that, if he is runnin a new set of tires, that extra turning scuffs the new rubber, breaking it in faster resulting in less lost positions in the start of the race..maybe you should all learn something from racing
