@AdThaDon2k8 putting hujass rims on your car like that may decrease performance by increasing your overall turning diameter of your rear gear ratio. but it puts alot of shine on the car, and also with those wide and low profile tires your ability to turn hard on corners increases quite abit.

@SRZsmack Generally not true. Accelleration may be affected if the overall tyre radius has been increased, however if you reduce your sidewall profile on the tyre then its possible to retain the correct rolling radius. Fitting huge rims > 18" anyway usually negatively affects handling, at least on public roads, as sidewall flex is almost eliminated, and this is important in maintaining contact patch. Also the rims will likely have incorrect offsets which can also negatively affect handling.

@AdThaDon2k8 why not get a smaller rim to keep the wall to roof ratio more even.. it will give you a better ride and great grip.. im no expert on tires but theres no point trying to use aero to improve grip when you have a superlow profile tire that wont grip anyway...

What's the difference between Air Force, and UAS? I'm looking to bag my 350z, but I dont want to sacrifice handling performance... I hear you can rock coilovers and bags, and you wont risk any performance... can you seriously, give me some info on this? I wanna be hellaflush, but going all coilovers in the area I live is a risky thing so I need bags. lol

That a ill ride. I only have 2 problems. 1 The price of the air kit is very expensive. 2 maybe it's the wheels but it dosnt go low enough for me. Props on the build though.

@TheRickRod The SC300 were made with a 5speed manual from 92-97 but it is much rarer to find a stick then the automatic. SC400 was never made with a 5sped manual, although some guys did a conversion to a 5spd or even 6spd on the SC400's. go to clublexus forums for all the info on these cars its the best site BY FAR.

the only height adjustment mod that should ever be put on an sc is to lower it and thats only for performance, lower center of gravity, not this spic shit

It's slow because it's supposed to be "luxurious". You can always increase line size if you want to make it move faster. Check out SC's Gone Wild to see it with faster drop rate on an airbag setup...

You can drift on them. Standard spring rates are probably too soft, so changing out the springs would be something you should do if you were to consider this setup...

These are not air bags but "cups" on top of springs. The wheels in the video are 20".  The size of each spring/cup is no larger than your average coilover setup. Check out our site or email us with any questions.

Lexus SC cars never have come equipped with airbag suspension. Thats even including the current SC430.

can you drive it raised with air? interested in this setup but was told this is not a true air suspension kit. Only made to raise of bumps, not to drive.

That is correct, driving with air in the cups is possible, but is very stiff. Maybe adding some accumulators would be the key...
