in bracket racing automatics are better because they are more consistant, but in heads up classes stick cars are faster due to less weight and autos use up more power because of friction and it having to pump fluid. .
I like stick cause its way more of a challenge than an auto lol auto its like put your foot on the brake and give it some gas and when the light turns grean go (or trans brake).
@kobracommader Yea a car pushing 700 horsepower is better off using a high end auto trans, but straight from the factory a half way decent driver can take any granny shifting automatic NO PROBLEM! Its not a challenge to run a stick stock faster then an auto stock! It's pretty easy to pull in the the stick by a couple tenths just by being aggresive. You must not drag race, because if you did you would know this! STOCK AUTOS SUCK!
no? ask any real driver stick is way more fun around the city and racing and gets better gas mileage. you can get better launches with manuals also aking them faster(in a drag race)
WTF is the problem with cars not being manual? Its not your fucking car so keep your mouth shut. My mustang is an auto but that doesn't mean I, or anyone else can't drive a manual...
thumper was the name of the rabbit in the disney movie bambi. dont ask me i remember crap from my childhood.... ill crawl into the fetal postion and cry....lol.
Can you tell me what is the part number of this cams? i have a 05 GT and i will like to put on it. do i need a special tune or just the reflash? needs new valve springs? how much horse power?
sounds good but weak. I thought these cams were supposed to sound like the old muscle car cams. This sounds more like a RV cam. Nothing like what we used to have in our cars in the 70s. Not putting your car down. it does sound good. just the cam doesn't sound like what I thought it would with all the hype. Looks like I will get a purple shafy after all. Nice mustang
These cars have variable valve timing so they aren't going to sound as ridiculously lumpy with a decent cam unless you intentionally tune it to be so horribly overlapped and whatnot at idle.
actually you dont have to intentionally tune anything other than normal flash and dyno as in any other cam install... they really are just that "rediculously lumpy"
How much do these cost?

Great Video! The car sounds amazing but when I saw the in-car driving, it looked terribly boring.... Manual transmission is the better choice!

how much is it to install cams?
Heezy2090 2 years ago
around a $1,000 thru Ford dealership and service. $2,000 counting parts.
sturmluger 2 years ago
the cams are fairly simple just remove tappit cover and the eight bolts on the cam towers and the factory cams slides right out no worries at all

S197 Mustangs have a 281 Cubic Inch motor. A 327 is a Chevy motor, a stroked 327 is basically what a 350 is.

Thanks. I had heard these cams were supposed to have a radical idle to them. I didn't realize that the computers in new cars take over that much.

Wow, these are making me reconsider FRPP Hot Rod cams. :)
What kind of power are we talking about? the FRPP gets around 25 to 30 depending on supporting mods and good tune.
Also, how difficult is it to install the phaser limiters needed for these? Good thing they're NSR. :)
