  • It's the tune of Im a little teapot

  • This version of the Think Music last aired on a Saturday rerun, around Summer 2010.

  • Fuck this! We wanted the Think Music to start in C.

  • It sounds like the band playing it is underwater...

  • Sounds like Disneyland while the Big Ben bell is ringing

  • Bring the 97 one back! The original was the original, but the 97 version was a fine remake for the coming years, why this shit?

  • I subscribe!

  • I had gotten into Jeopardy just as they replaced the 1997-2008 music with this one, which I say, piss on this one.

  • This think music is so corny.

  • The current one is wierd i like the 97 one

  • Latest version here: /watch?v=dk9azI0osmA

  • Why would you post this on September 11?

  • @3upman Why wouldn't he. Life goes on. I refuse to stop what I'm doing that day. We keep going and show the terrorists they didn't win.

  • @3upman Why wouldn't you? What does this have to do with anything?

  • @3upman Why does it matter? It's a DATE. Should we not do anything on September 11th just because of 9/11?

  • Disneyland meets Jeopardy

  • If you want my opinion, this version of the Think Music just sucks.

  • Merv Griffin Enterprises must've taken a page or two from Fremantle Media's Playbook, by taking a perfectly fine thinking piece, and ruined it over the years.

They figure, if Fremantle can ruin The Price is Right, they can do it to Jeopardy!.

Then again, does Fremantle secretly own MGE? :)

  • Worst. Jeopardy! Theme. Ever.

  • I really don't like that they slowed down the "tick-tock" block sound and took out the timpani at the end of the theme. Those were the essential trademarks of the theme (especially the timpani).

  • Request: not a video request but please change the title to make it say Jeopardy! Think Music 2008 because this version is the short-lived "leaky faucet" version. The 2008-present one is the piano-lead version introduced mid-October of that year.

  • Used From Septemebr 8, 2008-October 10, 2008.

  • I like the classic version better that was used on the original Art Fleming version and on the current version from 1984-1997. To my ears, that will always be THE Final Jeopardy! think music.

  • this one is better than all of them

  • this is jeopardy

  • I love 1997-2008 the best

  • this is terrible

  • the 1997 music is the best!

  • fuck this, go classic -.-

  • Why did they edited this in October?

  • the original rulez i hate this it sounds creepy

  • It sounds like something out of Disneyland

  • The classic music is better.

  • original will always be the better

  • i like this think

  • this one is like the worst one...

  • Music-wise, I don't think it's bad but I don't think it fits for Jeopardy

  • This makes me feel like I'm in a fun house. I really like the current version on the show, though.

  • I always thought the "tick tock sounds" was water dropping...

  • i miss that set

  • The 97 - 08 think music was a ton better

  • ik right

  • @milkbon3 they should've retained that one rather than changing it 2 years ago

  • Clock is too loud on this theme, I still like it though

  • It's quieter hear than in the older one.

  • Sorry. I typed way too fast. ***HERE

  • Forget you people, I am happy with whatever they do with their think music cause... I LOVE JEOPARDY!

  • the think music used to be good then they made this. seriously change it do anything to it i dont care i just dont want it to be thos

  • I like the old one better

  • Everyone likes the old one.

  • As do I.

  • lol Remixed XD

  • I dont know why, but its kinda sounds like the Wind Waker...

  • WHAT IS TOON LINK!

  • Nope sorry, that will cost you.... 499 Rupees and you drop down to 1.

  • @DarthBenjyMan

    I KNOW RIGHT!

  • How can people think with that fucking dripping/ticking noise in the background?!?!?

That's all you hear when you listen to the music and think at the same time!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

    *Uses Dragon Scimitar Special Attack*

  • Lol, you play RuneScape?

  • i love this song i sing it every day in school

  • i know

  • Hmmm, I never knew it was wrong to actually LIKE the new think music.

  • Comment removed

  • Ugh. that dripping sound is way too obnoxious for "think music"

  • Why is this voted down? That comment is true. The new think is garbage.

  • I agree that Jeopardy has lost somte of the trademarks that we have come to know and love. If Steve Kaplan was still alive we would have better think music today but he is no longer with us R.I.P.

At least we have the red background for final Jeopardy. I am very angry that they got rid of the board fill sound.

  • It's an F****** sound effect!!

Get over it, the game is still the same.

  • Well, thats YOUR opinion. I strongly dislike the fact that the board fill sound is gone. That's MY opinion. Got it?

  • Yes

  • I get it! Somewhat.

  • They brought it back actually, but it's a different sound.

  • If Jeopardy HAD died, I would mak like a little "In Memory Of" video, but we'll have to wait until Jeopardy dies.

  • I don't see Jeopardy dying anytime soon!

  • This think music is the one I love with the sound of the organ.

  • I like this version better than the 5th one.

  • Can you please upload the "Jeopardy!" main theme from 2008 to the present??

  • i like the think music more since they have changed it. i noticed that they used the other version this week.

  • where did you get it?

I would use it for my new video I am making.

  • The final jeopardy theme sounds awesome when I watch jeopardy in HD!!!

  • HEY! ONCE AGAIN THEY CHANGED THE THINK MUSIC AROUND! Same style, new music! Watch it & you will know!

  • I know. You hear the piano more.

  • Yeah, I say the new one is a little bit better than this one.

  • I'm not sure if the piano was even present in this first variant. I'd venture to say that the instrument that carries the entire main melody was changed from the horns (as above) to the piano.

  • It was. I heard it as muffled.

  • I made the new think music as a video response.

  • Anyone notice during today's show that the theme was slightly changed a bit?

  • It was. The wood block got cut way back and the piano part was more prominent.

    YES!

  • I like this final jeopardy theme. The 1998-2008 one was getting a little bit tiring.

  • I HAVE AN IDEA!

If I was in controll of the Final JEOPARDY! theme, I would have used some of the 2001 to 2008 theme.

    I'm not kidding.

  • I understand needing to change, but you're supposed to step UP, not down!

I honestly think the R&RJ and JEP! versions are superior to this :/

  • You people are a bun of whiny little pussies. I bet you people are the ones who started those shitty "Anti new Facebook" groups. Shit changes people. Suck it up

  • oh be quiet. nobody here is complaining about change, they are angry with mediocrity. when you add a new twist to an existing concept you're supposed to make it BETTER not worse. the themes previous to this one were creative and innovative and had EFFORT put into theme. this theme is just a generic, lazy, half ass effort.i swear these days people are just fine with being average instead of being the best. but i guess you're one of those people who thinks getting C's instead of A's is okay.

  • You guys should know,

gsn is in the middle of Ken's run down for his $2,500,000.

  • They're rerunning his episodes? Is that what you're saying?

  • Yep.

  • Yes, I do remember hearing this theme, on the 2nd episode of the 25 Season and I was discusted with it, along with many other things that were added and subtracted from the show.

  • I kinda enjoy this new J! Think Music, though it's getting some time to get used to, though.

I rather have this than the ultra-crappy music package from the kids version of J! called "JEP!"

Anyone remember how bad this version of J! was?

  • my favorite song

  • hey gsn93 you just need to put the new opening to jeopardy?

  • Interesting think music. Seems to have the touch of the theme from the 80s.

  • Oh, for cryin' out loud... The Price is Right kept the same music for 35 years, and people still like it.

  • Well, they kinda changed it a tiny bit.

  • I disagree. If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.

  • I agree... I honestly thought the other think music was getting to be old and I was really tired of it.

    --Mathew

  • Yeah and its their 25th anniversary as well.

  • Plus we don't want to keep hearing the same old think music until we die. Right?

    --Mathew

  • You know... to be honest, I was getting tired of hearing the same think music day after day. I'm glad that the think music has evolved into something to my liking.

    --Mathew

  • I don't like your attitude timduncan21spursfan

  • good things should never get old. and the previous one was a damn good thing. better than the ones before, too.

  • I liked the Think Music from 1997, but the new music is a MAJOR step down. The "tick tock" rhythm is half the time it normally is but what really aggravates me is they've removed the classic tympani beats at the end. It would have to take a lot of getting used to with this new music.

  • Is it me, or does the ticking seem a bit cooler than the other versions?

  • I'm not saying I like this version of the music better than the others; I just like the ticking, and that's it.

  • When do you think you will have the new theme?

  • Reminds me of Hickory Dickory Dock.

  • Hey I was thinking the same thing too my friend!

  • It sounds like the theme of a show aimed at preschoolers.

  • Yeah. It's doesn't suit the show. Final Jeopardy is supposed to be intense. This makes you feel like you have all the time in the world, like there's no need to hurry.

I would say "what were they thinking?", but I think a more appropriate question would be "WERE they thinking?".

  • Maybe it was to fit the 25th Anniversary remaking of the music.

  • If it was, it's extremely underwhelming. Truthfully speaking, none of the "Think!" themes since 1997 come close to the "Think!" theme from Art Fleming's Jeopardy.

  • So?

  • This doesn't suit the mood of Final Jeopardy at all. Final Jeopardy is supposed to be intense, because you're really thinking on your feet, hoping to pull the right answer out of thin air. You don't get any of that with this theme. There's no urgency, no thinking "Boy, I really need to work fast".

  • @Premonition45 The "Think!" theme from the Art Fleming era was used in the Trebek era too but from 1984 until 1997

  • @cubsrule2040 I know that. The point was something that iconic shouldn't be cast aside so callously.

  • @Premonition45 What I think should've happened was that the 2001 theme should've been remixed for the 25th season instead of the new theme and Think music; Sony should've given Chris Bell or some music composer/arranger the 2001 theme and remixed

  • I still am getting used to it, but the more I listen, the more I like it, especially the little flourish at the end.

  • I like the last version better. I don't know, but I find this one to be a little bit too cheesy.

  • This really catchy. I like it and the theme music

  • That is probably one of the most interesting Think themes in the history of Jeopardy!

  • Do u have the new theme yet?

  • nope.

  • I don't watch J! that much but seriously, this is the all new think music? Sounds Majestic!!!

  • You must see a show of JEOPARDY! soon!

  • Oh I have! I just saw one today! That "It's a Crime" category--easiest thing in the world! Damn, why didn't I major in Criminal Justice?

  • I like the new think music for 2008 on! Nice video 5/5
