@spazmatron1...so being a youth coach makes you know everything? 13 300's and 2 800's all while in youth with nothing but idiots as coaches cause I didn't listen to them, I knew better. So if you can't tell that it is his 550+ RPM rotating on the lane and NOT the thumb hole then do those kids a favor, quit your non payed youth coaching job.
no its not rolling over the thumb hole. robert smith has great role. its rolling over the label on the storm ball. notice it has the sound the whole way down the lane. the ball flares so it couldnt stay over the thumb hole anyway. plus it would be a thumping sound. this is smoother

Definitely tracking labels, not thumb hole. When it is quiet in the lanes I can hear the same thing with any ball that has an engraved logo.
