The Dept of Peace is a proposed Dept that would be counter to the Dept of Defense. The purpose being to have another viewpoint to offset the advice of the DOD when it comes to the US involvement in war. It would be an advisory dept. so that there are alternatives to military action being offered.

Marianne Williamson was famous long before Oprah had her on as a guest.Her beliefs and viewpoint is basically Christian with a little bit of altruism thrown in for good measure.
